Especially for You album for sale by Duane Eddy was released Apr 25, 2000 on the Jamie / Guyden label. Even though Duane Eddy's first album, HAVE TWANGY GUITAR WILL TRAVEL, was still on the charts in the spring of 1959, Jamie Guyden Records urged Eddy to complete a second record. The result was the popular ESPECIALLY FOR YOU, an LP dedicated to the very fans who catapulted the young guitarist to the top of the charts. Bobby Rydell Cameo Parkway 1959-1964: The Best Of Bobby Rydell CD (2005) Top Seller
Especially for You album for sale Collecting recordings from throughout the first five years of early-1960s heartthrob Bobby Rydell's career, this compilation features his first hits, like the Doc Pomus composition "I Dig Girls," standards like "That Old Black Magic," a wide variety of Brill Building classics like "The Third House (In From the Right)," and one early Lennon and McCartney composition, "A World Without Love." Significantly, Rydell's version of the latter song lost out to Peter and Gordon's British Invasion hit--the onetime teen idol was one of many U.S. pop stars supplanted by Beatlemania.

Have 'Twangy' Guitar, Will Travel CD (1958) Top Seller
Especially for You songs Formerly available with "$1,000,000 Dollars Of Twang" on 1 CD.
A pioneer in instrumental rock, Duane Eddy remains an anomaly in popular music. Eddy's distinctive "twang" guitar style complemented the infectious dance beats of his band and drove the viewers of Dick Clark's AMERICAN BANDSTAND television show wild, even without a vocalist. This brings up the notion that perhaps pop music fans don't always require the presence of a lead singer; maybe all they look for is musical charisma, and this Eddy supplied in spades.
HAVE TWANGY GUITAR WILL TRAVEL was the first LP released by Eddy and his partners at Jamie Guyden Records. Recorded in 1959, this disc contains 12 rowdy rock & roll classics, including "Cannonball," "Ramrod," "The Lonely One," and "Moovin' 'N' Groovin'," ...

Biggest Twang of Them All/The Roaring Twangies CD (2002)
Especially for You album for sale After leaving Jamie Records in the early '60s, guitarist Duane Eddy made a myriad of disastrous records featuring odd mixtures of Broadway tunes, TV show themes, and pop hits of the era. On Biggest Twang of Them All and The Roaring Twangies, released on Reprise in 1966 and 1967, respectively, Eddy puts his twangy touch on "The Ballad of the Green Berets," "Mame," "Hello, Dolly!," and "Batman," with dismal results. The lone keeper in the bunch is "This Guitar Was Made for Twangin'," which sounds like a Davie Allan & the Arrows outtake. For fanatics only. ~ Al Campbell
