Open for Business album for sale by Providers was released Jul 11, 2000 on the Casualty label. From 1994 to 2002, The Providers rocked clubs throughout Connecticut (with occasional jaunts to New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Kenyon College in Ohio) with an intelligent and danceable blend of rock 'n' roll, blues, rockabilly and country that earned praise from audiences and critics alike. A restless sense of musical exploration led the band to share bills with acts as disparate as John Mayall, The Radiators, De La Soul, They Might Be Giants, Johnny Winter, NRBQ, Ronnie Earl, Roomful of Blues and The Slip over the course of eight years together.
