The Aquabats: Christian Richard Jacobs (vocals); Senator Charles Wallace Gray (electric & acoustic guitars, finger cymbals, piano, banjo, E-bow, violin, sitar, Mellotron, vocals, Moog synthesizer); Courtney Adam Pollock (electric & acoustic guitars, samples, DJ, vocals, electric sitar); James Randall Briggs II (tenor, alto & baritone saxophones, clarinet, piano, vocals, Clavinova, mellotron, flute); Sir Boyd Terry (trumpet, coronet, vocals, sousaphone, Hammond B-3 organ); Adam Warren Deibert (trumpet, synthesizer, vocals, programming, Farfisa); Chad Albert Larson (bass, Farfisa, organ, vocals); Travis Landon Barker Esq. (drums, percussion). Additional personnel includes: Blake Handler (piano); Ikie Owens (keyboards); Parker LeGrand Jacobs, Bill Hardie, Patrick McDonald (background vocals). The Aquabats' second album, The Fury of the Aquabats fulfills the promise of their debut, offering an infectious collection of ska-punk. Although the group's songwriting is a little uneven, and they have the tendency to wallow in sophomoric, "wacky" humor, they have enough hooks and energy to satisfy ska junkies. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

some good stuff This is, by far, my favorite of the Aquabats's current CD's. Really, I have no complaints. Oh, and the last track (the hidden one) is called "Play Dough". I know this because it is the first song on "The Return of the Aquabats" (another good CD). Just buy the CD. Submitted by schumacher (Sioux Falls, SD, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$11.65 NEVERSAYMarc Grover: Lead Vocals, Guitars, Mick Michelbach: Guitars, Tim Rossetti: Drums, Joey T: Bass Produced, Recorded and Mixed by Peter Amato and Jess SutcliffeAn album that is potent, riff-ready, and powerful, but still catchy and commercial enough for radio airplay. And yet, it still begs to be played from top to bottom in your car. There is something here for everyone. Heavy guitars, catchy hooks, solid playing......rock music that returns the genre to its rightful place - just Neversay there will never be an album full of great songs again. With powerful production that makes the music jump out of the speakers and then grabs you by the collar and pulls you back in, this is a CD full of songs (remember those !) emotions, power, dynamics, and subtlety. This is a BAND to reckon with.... a singer that gives you everything he's got; guitars that interplay in a way that recall the best of the best; and a rhythm section that reminds you of the power of Bonham and Jones. Neversay's first CD should be one that you play and play and ...
