I put of seeing this movie for a while thinking it would be a dissappointment. Now, it is my favorite movie. The story flows well, not a dull moment in the entire thing. Well acted too, and the chemistry between the cast is greatly shown. This movie wont just appeal to teenagers either, its a movie everyone can enjoy. Very funny, and you'll want to watch it over and over again. :)

A favorite of mine!
I know there are a lot of teen movies out there, but this one is def. one of my favorites! I love this movie, it is one of those kind of movies you can put in & watch it over & over again!
I think all the characters are entertaining & I love Stiles in this role as the boy-bashing, negativite rocker! I would love to act out the role when she dances on the table at the house party!! So classic! I loved Ledger in this movie also. So not my type, but someone I would so fall for!
Corny, but cute all together. One not to miss if you like the whole teen movie genre.

This is a funny teen movie. It is a hip, new version of Sheakspere's "Taming the Shrew." Even though it is quite charming, it shouldn't be viewed by young children, with some inappropiate material. Enjoy!

A cool cast of young stars is just one of the things you'll love about this hilarious comedy hit! On the first day at his new school, Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt -- HALLOWEEN: H2O, TV's "3RD Rock From The Sun") instantly falls for Bianca (Larisa Oleynik -- THE BABY SITTERS CLUB), the gorgeous girl of his dreams. The only problem is that Bianca is forbidden to date ... until her ill-tempered, completely un-dateable older sister Kat (Julia Stiles -- THE BOURNE IDENTITY, SAVE THE LAST DANCE) goes out too! Director Peter Segal (50 FIRST DATES, ANGER MANAGEMENT) and comedian Adam Sandler are at it again in a fun remake of the 1974 classic, THE LONGEST YARD. In the role of Paul "Wrecking" Crewe, first immortalized by Burt Reynolds (who appears here as Nate Scarborough), Sandler plays an ex-football star whose career ended amidst allegations of point shaving. Fed up, he drunkenly steals his unfriendly wife's (an uncredited Courtney Cox) luxury car and drives it into a multi-car pileup. This lands Crewe in a cruel Texas state penitentiary. His only respite comes from Warden Hazen (James Cromwell) who wants Crewe to help lead his well-equipped prison-guard football team to the league championship. Crewe timorously agrees, suggesting the creation of an opposing team of convicts to the give the guards an easy tune-up before the season. To the ragtag inmates, this is the chance they've been waiting for, and they hustle to get their team together so they can exact some revenge on the harassing guards.
