If you are new to Grant Green, this is the best album to start with, better than Idle Moments. This album summarizes Grant Green's appeal perfectly - he plays great melodies and solos with a fantastic tone and sense of space.

Incredible as it seems, this music was never released while these two greats were alive. Seemingly free of commercial pressures Green and Clark team up for som of the most elegant bop you'll ever hear.
