The Complete Hits of Linda Scott contains all 12 of her Billboard chart hits in addition to ten other recordings from her early-'60s heyday. Mastered from the original tapes and with all but one of the tracks presented in true stereo, no illegitimate import can approach the sound quality and presentation of this package. "I Told Ev'ry Little Star" is Scott's biggest and best-known hit (and one of only three that cracked the Top 20), but her other efforts boast inventive arrangements, a greater measure of vocal talent than the average teenage thrush, and a handful of songs written by Scott herself. Complete Hits Of Linda Scott Music Review Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars)   Great Scott! What an album!
Back in the sixties I saved up my pennies until I was able to buy Linda's wonderful album 'Starlight, Starbright'. I must have played in hundreds of times, yet it's still in excellent condition and a treasured item in my LP collection. When I discovered that most of the songs on that album, plus loads more, were available on CD in remastered stereo, I couldn't believe my good fortune. Linda's clear, sweet voice is equally suited to sentimental ballads and more upbeat numbers, and has a timeless quality which, four decades later, can still compete favourably with today's top female artistes. My only disappointment is that this CD doesn't include 'Catch a Falling Star' and 'Land of Stars', but hey - I've still got the technology to play the original LP, and I've now got 12 extra songs on this CD I didn't have before! 'Complete Hits' is an opportunity not to be missed.

 A beatiful girl who can sing
Linda Scott is one of my best loved
singers form the early 60s and this
CD has all of her greatest songs.
You will want this CD in your collection.

Finally Linda Scott gets her well deserved recondition!
I have been a FAN of Linda Scotts since the 60's. I was thrilled to hear about this CD. This is a fantastic example of her singing abilitys. I thought I knew all of her music but, I was wrong. A real find for her fans!

Following the disastrous near-reunion of Van Halen, David Lee Roth didn't lie down -- he wrote the vindictive, hilarious, near-brilliant memoir Crazy From the Heat, compiled The Best for Rhino, and finally, assembled the DLR Band, his response to the Gary Cherone version of Van Halen. Where his former colleagues aimed at world domination and serious art with Van Halen III, Diamond Dave kept his aim low, turning in a sleazy little record that just wants to rock really hard. While Van Halen stumbled hard with their revamping, Roth succeeded in delivering a kind of miniature comeback.
