Its worth the money just for Ticking I am a great fan of Elton having first heard "Where to now St Peter" on Tumbleweed Connection" However this album does not work as a complete work but is simply a collection of disparate songs. By bernard (Stourbridge UK)
Not his greatest, but... ... even lesser 60s/70s Elton John is far more satisfying than greater 80s/90s Elton John. I'd actually give this one 3.5 stars out of 5. It's slightly marred by a few rather jokey tracks ("Grimsby," "Solar Prestige a Gammon," "Stinker"), but it's an otherwise solid effort. By hoojib127 (St. Paul, MN, USA)
Pretty darn good! After Yellow Brick Road it must have been hard to follow up with an album close to Brick Road's greatness. I think this album has been under-rated ever since its release. By Rick (St. Louis, MO)
Ticking This is not one of his best albums but it contains Ticking, which is simply the greatest song he ever wrote. By JohnEBGood (On the Jersey Shore)
Disapointing!!!!!! Given the his previous album was "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" not only his greatest album, but one of the greatest albums in rock,Caribou is a disaponting follow up. It certainly didnt hurt him any, it went to #1 but at the time he was the hottest act in the world. By CG531 (NYC, USA)
