Door songs Product Information
Door album for sale by Keb' Mo' was released Oct 10, 2000 on the 550 Music label. For his fourth album, California native Keb' Mo' continues down his same creative path, weaving traditional country blues with more contemporary pop sounds. Content to leave guitar histrionics to young bucks like Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, the former Kevin Moore instead uses his skill with a National Steel guitar to give his material a texture like smooth sippin' whiskey. ||Keb Mo, go!|
Loved this and plan to have more. Worth what I paid. Played it 3 times in a row. Rare for me. Cool.

||This is Keb Mo, need I say "mo"|
Hey. When it comes to acustic blues you you can't get any beter. If you live in NYC check out Thunder at the door off broadway.

||Keb, What happened?|
I loved his first disc "Keb Mo". It was unlike anything out there, only Taj Mahal comes close when I tried to find a comparison. His 2nd album, "Slow Down", was also good but not as tasty as the first. This one was a huge disappointment. He seems to have turned his back of the Blues, and embraced adult contemporary, so he can be played on a radio station right after Gloria Estefan and Celine Dion. "It Hurts Me too" was the reason I was most excited until I heard it. I don't think he ever heard Elmore James' original. If Elmore heard this he would have been upset at the crime it was. Avoid!
