This CD is one that I play over and over again. I can't get enough of the beautiful songs. When I feel tired and work is too much. Celine can always bring me back to that "very good place!"

 THE MASTERPIECE
You could never get to know Celine better without listening to this even once!This is her best album in English (maybe after Taking Chances), not only 'cause EACH SONG is beautiful but also 'cause her voice takes my breath away... she's such a powerful voice and puts a lot of soul in each song. This is THE ALBUM. Celine herself said she could've retired after recording it!!!This was my first Celine album - so if you wanna discover Celine's world I think this could be a good album to start with.

This woman is a woman of song. These songs were hand picked for her. Where did she find such wonderful music with a beautiful set of pipes to bring out the songs. Just a wonderful set of music.

Finally paying tribute to Vikki Carr!!!
Grande, Grande, Grande which was a world
wide hit for Vikki Carr back in 1972, finally covered by two other superstars
Celion Dion and Luciano Pavarotti, which is Never, Never, Never, but titled
here as I Hate you Then I love You.
Paying tribute to my favorite singing sensation Vikki Carr won my heart and I will purchase this CD.

Applause was the biggest hit to emerge from the 1969-70 Broadway musical season. An adaptation of the classic 1950 film All About Eve, it told the story of aging Broadway star, Margo Channing, and her scheming protégée Eve Harrington. In the movie, Margo had been played by 42-year-old Bette Davis, and Eve by Anne Baxter. Onstage, it was 45-year-old Lauren Bacall, making her musical theater debut, and Penny Fuller. The book was by Betty Comden and Adolph Green (for once not writing lyrics), while the score was by Charles Strouse and Lee Adams, whose only previous hit was Bye Bye Birdie (though Golden Boy had a respectable run). The show was a triumph for Bacall, who won the Tony for best actress, and it also created a star in Bonnie Franklin, who sang the title song (which became a minor standard) and went on to the ...
