Devil Without a Cause album Product Description
Devil Without a Cause album by Kid Rock was released Oct 13, 1998 on the Atlantic (Label) label. In the grand tradition of Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. Devil Without a Cause music CDs genre-hopper Kid Rock chooses to lay down his raps over a bed of rock-oriented electric guitar riffs instead of traditional hip-hop tracks and beats. Unlike the aforementioned groups though, Kid Rock comes off more like an adventurous hip-hopper than a rocker with a Public Enemy jones. In an effort to prove himself as "street" as his more conventional rap peers, Rock combines his rockish arrangements with gangsta-derived lyrics full of boasts and sexual braggadocio. DEVIL WITHOUT A CAUSE will appeal to both rock fans in search of something different and hip-hop listeners who like a little rock in their rap. Live Recording Recording information: White Room Studios & Temple Of The Dog, Detroit, MI. Directors: Jason Flom; Jennifer Barbato. Photographers: Randy G. ; Joseph Cultice. Unknown Contributor Role: Thug-Boy. Personnel: Joe C., Kracker (rap vocals); Kenny Olson, Jimmie Bones (guitar); Jason Krause (electric guitar, keyboards); Stefanie Eulinberg (electric guitar, drums); Jimmy Bones (keyboards); Misty Love (drums, background vocals); Thug-Boy, Tweeds Kracker (turntables); Shirley Hayden (background vocals). ...See Full Description

KID ROCK IS VERY PLEASANT TO LISTEN TO hi, it's me again. your friend monty. just dropped in to say hi. i listen to other music, too. like celine dion, liberachi, barry manilow, and Beethoven. kid rock is so cool. im in a rap group called Hardcore White Boys In The Suburbs. it really says who we are and we are hardcore. in one song we say a bad word. i don't know if i can say it online so i'll right it censored. S*UPID. one time i heard a song that said the word darn and i was so offended that i wrote a letter to the Committe of Music. They said i was wimpy. i hear that a lot. i don't know what it means. i think it means tough or something. anyways, im carrying on, so i'll sign out by saying PEACE OUT HOMIES! By your friend monty (i think u know where)

kid rock rules i absolutly love kid rock ( and his music)2 By chrisgordon59 (provo Ut usa)
Great album! Kid Rock constantly puts out 5X, & 6X Platinum albums & no one can argue that that's not success. While some people make it obvious that he's a "scum bag," & he's not going to "contribute to his success" & he "RESTS HIS CASE," Kid still has an awesome style that can't be touched by anyone & this album proves it. Best songs are "Bawitdaba," "Cowboy," "I am the Bullgod," & "Only God Knows why." Kid Rocks!!! By M.B (Ohio USA) This review is for a different format.
