Contains six tracks, including 'Roller' and 'Aquaman'. Roller Soundtrack CD music Goblin followed up the impressive Italian success of Profondo Rosso with one of the few non-soundtrack items in their catalog. Despite this fact, Roller finds the group's trademark mixture of prog rock complexity and horror movie atmospherics very much intact: The title track builds from staccato piano passages into an epic riff powered by electric guitar and cathedral-style organ, while "Goblin" is an epic of prog fireworks that works in an array of complex solos from each of the group's members. When I purchased an original release of Roller, Goblin in 1977 My freinds and I were stunned by the technology of this album. I was probably the only person in Ontario at the time who had even heard of them. It shaped mine and many others taste in electronic/progressive music for all time. An absolute Must have album

Progressive Jazz and Horror
This CD really shows you the direction the band would have taken had they not been in such hot demand as film soundtrack composers. It consists of some great instrumental progressive rock mixed with a hint of jass and a large helping of the eerie electronics that made their best film work so fantastic. If you're already a GOBLIN fan, then chances are you'll love this. If you're not familiar with the band, then this is as good a place to start as any. But also get the SUSPIRIA soundtrack as well!
