3 stars Competition for worst ever
William Shatner and Mac Davis have some competition now for the worst record ever made. The premise isn't so bad but the execution is. You really have to hear it to believe it, to hear how bad it really is. Pat's singing is horrible, varying from amateurishly casual to pretentiously inappropriately sentimental, the arrangements are cloyingly sweet or brassingly brassy all at once and make no sense. But the good news it's worth a good laugh if you're into collecting worst efforts of all time and laughing at them.
