COUNTRY MUSIC AT ITS BEST!!!
Don Williams shows what country music is all about no pop crossover here. Only pure country music. There are only a few country performers, who have stayed the course in country music and he is one of the best. The man can flat out sing the country ballad. Today's country stars should take a page from his book. Anyone wanting to hear good country music this is the CD for you.

Vintage Don Williams
Although mot a particularly great fan of Country Music, Don Williams is both "Singer" and "Stylist", and can appeal to anyone. This "Anthology" Album has captured the best of Don Williams, culled from his long career, and provides the listener with excellent selections of the very best music this fine artist has provided over the years. The Don Williams Anthology is great listening !

5 Star Collection
I was a fan of Don Williams before there was one-as a solo performer at least, Pozo Seco being the earlier platform for his laid back stylings, great song selection, nice harmonies. The Don Williams anthology is a full collection of his best loved songs. If you like Don Williams, this collection is essential.

A Joke!
I give this one star because here it is 2009 and still his collection for the most part remains out of print. I don't own a turntable anymore so I can't listen to "Portrait" anymore, the very best he ever did! To my knowledge, "Portrait" was never transferred to cd format even in analog form. The five studio albums from "Portrait" through "Yellow Moon" need to be issued in their entirety. Why hasn't Rhino/Flashback or Sbme. Marketing or Legacy reissued these in cd format?
