Digitally remastered by Erick Labson (MCA Music Media Studios, North Hollywood, California). When Etta James signed with Chess Records in 1960, the label decided to pair her raw, bluesy singing with a full backing band and lush orchestrations. at last the best
As a blues radio jocky broadcasting in India i'm constantly picking up classic blues c.d. 's to put on air. Etta Jame's At Last is definately one of the best blues albums of the era.
