few good twists to keep you guessing... I enjoyed this sci-fi/horror movie. A group of high schoolers, all from different social classes get mixed up together after realizing their teachers have been taken over by somesort of alien nature.
I liked the cast of characters. Don't really know why they put Usher on the cover thou, he was in it for like a total of seven minutes. Otherwise I think all were fit for the parts.
Even thou it's older & doesn't quite have the same effect as it did when I was younger & its not really scary, it has a few good twists to keep you interested! Submitted by lw (Iowa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A good teenage horror movie This is a typical teenage horror movie that deals with alienation. It's definately a movie which appeals to a younger audience. A movie which deals with different teens going through different stages of life and having to battle there teachers who are alienating the entire school. Eventually the humans win when Casey kills the Queen B alien. This movie consists of young great actors who comitted themeselves to there roles. An above average sci-fi teenage horror flick which is very watchable. Submitted by Joey 34` (Sydney Austrlia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$10.29 Joe Dante's hilariously funny, wickedly scary film is about a loveable, furry little Christmas gift that multiplies into many little Christmas gifts, with savage consequences. Rand Peltzer (Hoyt Axton) is an inventor who hasn't successfully invented anything. But this Christmas he's bringing his family something special--a small, cuddly creature known as a mogwai. The little fella comes with three crucial instructions. He's not to be fed after midnight, he's not to get any direct light and he should never be given so much as a drop of water. If Rand and his son Billy (Zach Galligan) can adhere to these rules they can avoid the otherwise tragic consequences. Unfortunately, the rules are harder to stick to than it seems, and suddenly Billy finds himself with far too many "pets," all with big appetites. It's up to Billy and his girlfriend ...

$13.59 The Cure have been one of the most influential bands of latter half of the 20th Century, emerging in the 1970s as punk music was beginning to wane. Their sound, heavily laden with synthesizers and layers of guitar, was a harbinger of goth music, as was the groups macabre appearance, but by the time that genre fully emerged, The Cure were firmly established in the mainstream, making the charts in both Great Britain and the US. Exploring the impact of The Cure, this documentary traces their rise to success and examines how they have maintained their level of relevance and popularity into the 21st Century. Incorporating previously unseen, candid footage of the band into revealing interviews with close friends, musicians, journalists, and others who worked closely with The Cure throughout their career, OUT OF THE WOODS brings both a personal and critical depth to our understanding ...
