Crow Operation K.A.P. CD

I come from a long line of hustlers, gangsta'a playa's and pimps. I can only write what I have seen, done, had done to me, or herd about. I feel that its the harsh things of life that seem to make us think the most. When a man or a woman is faced with something he or she fears such as death or destruction then and only then does one see Life for what it really is. This is what gives way to the nature of C.R.O.W.'s thoughts as I write these songs. Darius is a real person. He may even be you. Sylvia is a real person also and you might be in her situation right now. And I feel that I owe you at least enough respect to make sure that your story is told. Maybe not in detail but, enough for you to understand what Im trying to say. And thats enough for me. Operation K.A.P. stands for operation kill a pimp and that's exactly what CROW was attempting to do with this project. Its the first concept album released by BRUTHAZ GRIMM and it contains underground style skits that help bring this gritty musical drama to life. This 20 track project deals with very adult subject matter and follows a young woman into the dark and disgusting world of prostitution. This album should be used as study material in male / female youth homes and detention centers and given to people that are already caught up in what's known as "The Game". As you listen to this album keep in mind that the BRUTHAZ GRIMM as a unit were becoming fragmented. Differences in musical taste and positions within the ministry seemed to cause a great strain on relationships within the BRUTHAZ GRIMM family. It wouldn't be long before the spiritual walls that held back years of frustrations and emotional dysfunction, would crack and crumble, releasing internal conflicts within the ministry that threatened to destroy all that these BRUTHAZ built as one. Artist Notes:This project was real to me because it contained so much of what I saw once I was introduced to the game. I made this project to show people a side of prostitution that many don't get to see and at the same time I wanted people to have more compassion for a prostitute, then they may otherwise have had.All at the same time I hated ho's. I lost my virginity to a ho when I was between 12 - 13 and I cant shake the hate that I feel for this ho sometimes. She was older and knew better but, she told me that when she was 12 a pimp got a hold of her, so she saw nothing wrong with taking a 13 year old child into an empty apartment, that she broke into, to rape him.Even now as I think about it I hate her face and what I saw in her eye's. At times I feel like she's the reason that I was as evil as I was. One night she told me that she was the devils daughter and because I slept with her I was now the devils son. I remember saying that very same thing to some of the women that I abused. I just didn't care about loose women beyond wanting to use them for sex or money.Sadly, that became an issue during the production of this album. Me and Warbebe's relationship was destroyed because I slept with a female that he was very interested in. I also help to fuel a family feud because his girlfriend was my girlfriends sister. I did the unthinkable and paid a heavy price. Even now me and Warbebe don't speak. After all of the fighting that I done to get this album released, because I felt it needed to be heard, I couldn't kill the pimp in me. I sit here thinking about it and I liked everyone that helped with this project, in a different world we would all still be friends, but were not. It's just me, My father, My savior, the Holy spirit, those that see me after Gods heart and the evil that I still fight to be delivered from. In time I know I will be. But still, I could tell that things would never be the same. That understanding gave me the title for our next release. I knew that we would either do something major as a unit and make it work or we would bec
