They don't make movies like this in Hollywood anymore. Quirky and delightful. Great acting and an actual plot.

4 stars An anglophile delight
Yes, If you like everthing about the UK, the people, the language nuances, the countryside, ah yes, the countryside, you'll like this quirky little movie. Excellent craftmanship from writers, Director, actors, et al. A Texas oil magnate sends one of his best negotiators, who he thinks is of scottish heritage, to buy a wee bit of land from the Scottish locals. Turns out the land is owned by the town's .... well, watch the movie. It's a delight. The soundtrack by Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) is beautiful. Be sure to listen to "Going Home"as the final credits role. (I actually visited the Scottish town where it was filmed - but that's another story), Enjoy!
