THIS IS A FILM THAT ALL THE FAMILY CAN WATCH AS IT IS A GOOD TIMELESS CLASSIC.MICHAEL J FOX GIVE ANOTHER FINE PERFORMANCE AS WITH ALL HIS OTHER FILMS.

4 stars Delightful Comedy...One of Michael J.'s best
"Doc Hollywood" has been a personal favorite of mine since its 1991 release. I thought M.J. Fox made me laugh as the young doctor getting caught up in small town Americana and its trappings going against his values. And Julie Warner was a delight as Lou, M.J.'s assistant to whom he grows close. Woody Harrleson and Bridget Fonda were good as well. I must order the DVD soon...:-)

3 stars Great movie, OK DVD.
As others have said, this is an excellent comedy, one of Fox's best. But the DVD is not so hot. Grainy color, low-quality 4:3 video and absolutely no special features or selections for audio & subtitles. Taping it off HBO would be better.

This is just a good comedy the whole family can watch. Micheal Fox is funny trying to be a Doctor in this little town. He finds out that a small town is better than the big city.
