Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles The long-running battle between neighbors John and Max escalates when zesty widow Ariel moves into their wintery Minnesota community. While the grouchy old rivals verbally spar over the new arrival, Max's son Jacob pines for Melanie, John's daughter. The pair's pranks and insults hide a growing friendship for one another, even as Ariel teaches the quarrelling duo how to escape their snowbound existence and embrace change. Two crusty, feuding neighbors vie over the affections of a beautiful woman who moves in on their street. Sequel: "Grumpier Old Men." Shot in Technicolor.

This Movie Is A Hoot! I don't care how many times I've watched this movie I laugh my buttocks off. The outtakes of this movie are outrageously hilarious. The things that Burgess Meredith says are worth the price of admission. "Looks like Chuck's taking the skin boat into Tuna Town". It's too sad that Matthau, Lemon, and Meredith have all passed on. What icons they all were. Buy this movie. You won't be disappointed. Wish I had waited and got Grumpy Old Men & Grumpier Old Men here on the 2-pak special for a great price here. I rest my case. The funniest movie ever with Walter Matthau & Jack Lemmon I love this movie, it is I think, my favorite movie ever. It has my two most favorite actors- Walter Matthau & Jack Lemmon. I have become a huge fan of theirs because of this movie. It is hilarious from beginning to end- never boring! I would recommend other movies starring these two gentlemen if you want to keep laughing. Check out the sequal.

$10.29 In M. Night Shyamalan's THE SIXTH SENSE, Bruce Willis plays Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a successful Philadelphia child psychologist who is haunted by the sudden reappearance and suicide of a former patient. Months later Dr. Crowe encounters Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), a troubled, withdrawn young boy who bears a striking similarity to his earlier patient. Dr. Crowe is compelled to help Cole, not only for the boy's sake, but for his own redemption. As Dr. Crowe struggles to determine what torments Cole, he must also come to terms with his increasingly distant relationship to his wife (Olivia Williams). Meanwhile, Cole is unable to describe the horrible things he sees even to his worried mother (Toni Collette). The scene where Cole finally tells Dr. Crowe about his supernatural secret is one of the 1990s most quoted and well-known cinematic moments.
A gripping ghost story with a stunning finale, THE SIXTH SENSE became a surprise blockbuster shortly after its release. The film features Oscar-nominated performances by the startlingly intense Osment ...

$7.89 Matty (Barry Pepper) is the only son of Brooklyn mobster Benny "the Chains" (Dennis Hopper). Considered too sensitive for mob work, but unable to find a regular job, Matty finally gets a chance to join his dad's organization when he agrees to arrange transport of half a million dollars across the country. When it winds up lost in a small Montana town, Matty and his assortment of tough-guy pals (played by Andrew Davoli, Seth Green, and Vin Diesel) are forced to fly out there, tangle with the locals, and find the money before their disappointed elders come to get them, guns blazing.
KNOCKAROUND GUYS features stylishly washed-out, gritty cinematography and benefits from a refreshing lack of the expected "city folk stranded in a small town" gags. Instead it's a tale of identity crisis-plagued boys blasting their blood-soaked way into manhood, with the dependable Diesel easily stealing the prize with his turn as Matty's philosophic brawler pal. John Malkovich--sporting one ...
