| "An Absolute Horror Masterpieces That Set The Standard"
This 25th Anniversary DVD of "The Exorcist" is to my opinion the one and only version to get. I believe the newer version pales in comparison to this one in that it still is to this day the definitive "Director's Cut." That said, with the sole exception of a better surround sound mix, the new version suffers from redundancy such as the additional "happy ending," the ridiculous "spider walk" sequence (which is included as a documentary "outtake" on this version), the extended extended theological "stairway" sequence between the two priests, and those insane inance subliminal images of the demon Pazuzu in several key scenes throughout the movie.

| I DARE YOU TO WATCH THIS MOVIE ALONE!
Exorcist video And then sleep with your foot hanging over the bed all night. I've seen many scary movies in my time, BUT THIS ONE IS STILL THE SCARIEST! This movie will stay in your mind, for many years to come, especially when you turn the lights off to go to sleep! BOO!

Exorcist film As far as I'm concerned this is the only true, scary movie ever produced! This movie pulls you in like no other! The first time I seen it, I couldn't sleep for a month! It is a masterpiece years ahead of it's time and one of the best films ever made! A must have!

| Stands as a great Horror Movie Standard
The Exorcist is and was one of the best horror movies ever made. Being made in the 70's, it was constructed without the help of the computers and special effects of this day and age.
