Standard Screen; Bio/Filmographies; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Behind The Scenes A mysterious travelling circus, led by the odd Dr. Lao, arrives in a small dusty town. Dr. Lao is endowed with magical powers, and his troupe is populated with such mythical characters as Merlin, Pan, Medusa and even the Abominable Snowman. Together, Lao and his performers use their unique abilities to help the townspeople gain clearer outlooks on who they are -- and in the process change their lives forever. In one of the finest performances of his career, Tony Randall plays the part of a mysterious Chinese doctor named Lao who rides into a small western town with his circus and changes the lives of all who come to see it. Lao assumes many disguises, some so extraordinary that Mr. Randall is completely unrecognizable. Color by Metrocolor.
Additional cast: Kevin Tate (Mike Benedict); Eddie Little Sky (George E. George); Frank Kreig (Mr. Peter Ramsey); Dale McKennon (Lean Cowboy).
Additional credits: Al Shenberg (assistant director).

Director Michael Schultz follows up his critically acclaimed and commercially successful COOLEY HIGH with this hilarious day-in-the-life tale set in modern day Los Angeles. At Sully Boyar's car wash, a juvenile, motley crew of city dwellers "work their fingers to the bone" waiting on the eccentric and sometimes haughty clientele. Throughout the day, the young men find time to indulge in personal pursuits: one fellow fantasizes about the pretty waitress working at a local restaurant, ...

$9.79 This fantasy adventure is based on the 1870 novel by Jules Verne. A small, motley group of soldiers and civilians flee the 1865 siege of Richmond via a hot air balloon, and end up on an isolated island crawling with over-sized crabs, birds, and bees. Even more astonishing, they discover three other humans inhabiting the island: two shipwrecked women and the illustrious, long-lost Captain Nemo. Ray Harryhausen's special effects, which include a battle with a giant crab and abduction by an enormous bird, still have the power to thrill ...
