what a sleeper one of my favorite witchcraft films of all time. not at all like the cover which gives the feeling of a low budget slasher, it is a great, stylish film set in Massachusetts with all the fog and mystery one could hope for... at last!!! By a reviewer (san francisco,ca) This review is for a different format.
Best Version of this Cult Classic City of the Dead is the British cut of the US Horror Hotel with an added 2 minutes of footage found here and there, mostly in the speech of Elizabeth Selwyn on the stake. This DVD version has the best video and sound so far of any release and includes commentaries by Christopher Lee and the Director. If you like creepy, old-fashioned horror films, don't pass this one up. . By a reviewer (Charlotte, NC, USA) This review is for a different format.

Leave Whietwood ... Leave Whitewood Now!! Those are the words of warning uttered by the old priest to tragic coed Nan Barlow. Take the words seriously. This is a truly creepy film such as they do not make anymore. Excellent scarey atmosphere! By a reviewer (norwalk, ct, usa) This review is for a different format.
Funny old horror film Though was not as horrifing as I was told. In fact as compared with 1970's and later films, it was rather funny and not realistic at all. By celys.1 (Nashua NH, USA) This review is for a different format.
