| | 20 Greatest Hits CD Leo Sayer Discography of CDs
20 GREATEST HITS collects the best-loved songs by high-pitched pop singer Leo Sayer.
Released in close proximity to Rhino's The Very Best of Leo Sayer in 2000, 20 Greatest Hits -- released by the U.K.-based Repertoire label -- isn't much different, though it does contain four more selections. Like The Very Best of Leo Sayer, it contains each one of Sayer's singles that charted in the U.S. ("More Than I Can Say," "When I Need You," "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing," "Long Tall Glasses," "How Much Love," etc.) and is filled out with representative album material. Choosing between the two discs comes down to availability more than sifting through the minor differences. If you're going on the amount of content alone, this one wins. ~ Andy Kellman
German compilation features for the first time his 20 international chart hits that made him a superstar. Highlights include, 'The Show Must Go On', 'One Man Band', 'Long Tall Glasses', 'Moonlighting' & 'You Make Me Feel Like Dancing'. Repertoire.
Personnel: Leo Sayer (vocals).

Purchase 20 Greatest Hits CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Paul Butterfield Blues Band CD (1965)
20 Greatest Hits album
$6.19 The '60s Blues Revival begins here. Calling this album influential is an understatement akin to calling the Grand Canyon a rut; suffice to say that an entire generation of musicians (mostly young and white) heard this and had their lives changed forever. In fact, for at least a year after the album's release in 1965, it was impossible to walk down the hall of any college dorm in America without hearing ...
| | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
20 Greatest Hits CD music
$6.39 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering rendition of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra's "Summer Wine."
Somewhat more mysteriously, Rolling Stone Ron Wood also turns up on what sounds dangerously close to ...
| | Drive-By Truckers Southern Rock Opera CDs (2001) Digipak
20 Greatest Hits music CDs
$11.99 A sprawling two-disc set, the Drive-By Truckers' SOUTHERN ROCK OPERA is a cracked masterpiece that's enjoyable on several different levels. Hipsters might enjoy the giggly premise of a two-disc set devoted to a slightly altered retelling of the rise and fall of 1970s Southern rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd. Progressive rock fans lamenting the modern era's relative lack of story-driven albums divided into "Act I" and "Act II" will latch onto SOUTHERN ROCK OPERA with the same passion with which they embraced ...
| | Antony I Am A Bird Now CD (2005)
20 Greatest Hits songs
$12.49 Though he probably achieved his greatest mainstream recognition backing up Lou Reed on tour, idiosyncratic songbird Antony is a fully established artiste in his own right. Backed by the Johnsons, as on I AM A BIRD NOW, he crafts delicate ballads that skirt the lines between cabaret, artsong, and pop, with the kind of voice that Stephin Merritt would probably kill for. Antony's unique pipes bring to mind an androgynous Bryan Ferry or a high, quavery summit meeting between Jimmy Scott (another Reed supporter) and Aaron Neville. The stately, graceful, largely piano-driven songs on I AM A BIRD NOW are full of honest, uncluttered emotion, but never go over ...
| | Dredg Catch Without Arms CD (2005)
20 Greatest Hits album
$8.49 Early on, critics often described Dredg as a metal group. However, the quartet has since matured into a hard-edged indie-rock ensemble that seeks diversity and refinement in its music. On CATCH WITHOUT ARMS, the band favors highly orchestrated parts, dense guitar riffs, and powerful drumming. Each song is based around memorable vocal hooks ...

20 Greatest Hits CD music
$11.69 The third album from Richie Spice makes a couple of things very clear. First, he's a fine singer and an even better songwriter, capable of dropping completely convincing dancehall, hip hop and roots-and-culture material without seeming to break a sweat. Second, he needs someone to give him some discipline in the studio and steer him clear of such waste-of-time touches as chest-beating intros (and outros) and exploitative recordings of adorable children talking about their career plans and then chanting "We love Richie Spice!." The less time he spends on that stuff and the more he spends on stern anthems of racial consciousness ("Black Like a Tar"), of impending apocalypse ("Earth a Run Red") and of horticultural devotion ("Marijuana"), the better. He's also in fine form when expressing ...
