This album captures the Pioneers at the very height of the powers of the trio of Lloyd Perryman (tenor), Dale Warren (lead), and Tommy Doss (baritone and frequently mistaken for Bob Nolan, who had retired from the Pioneers).

| The group's best collection
The Sons of the Pioneers had many personnel changes over the years, but I believe this album showcases the group when they truly sounded like the Pioneers.

| Not complete
This album is just a piece of what I consider the best Sons of the Pioneers' recordings. It only has eight songs, whereas the original LP had eighteen! The music is great, but spend a little more and get the remastered edition, which is complete.
