Agnetha has always had a very pleasing angelic quality to her voice. What enchances her voice is the slight Swedish accent to her perfect diction. There are a few wonderful surprises for her fans on this release, which primarily focuses on her post-ABBA career. Though her fist album was an international success, Polydor never bothered with her second, and in my opinion, best release while under contract to Polar. This collection highlights her singles which were primarily released in Europe. This compilation is very different from the one released by CBS for her work on the Swedish label Cupol, which focused primarily on her pre-ABBA career. For someone just discovering Agnetha, My recommendations are her CDs in the following order: Greatest Hits, I stand alone, My colouring book, and Wrap your arms around me. There is also a wonderful Christmas CD she recorded with her daughter and a children's CD she recorded with her son; but these would only be for die hard fans unless you have children.

If you don't own any of Agnetha's solo material, but would like a sample of just how magical and diverse her music can be, buy this cd! I can guarentee you'll be back for more!!!!

 Agnetha-The Queen of Hearts
A dazzling piece of work by one of the greatest female vocalists of all time.What would Agnetha(and her great colleague Frida)have achieved if they had been either British or American!There is a tendency for mediocre singers of these two countries to prosper more,because of the publicity and market.A must listen for all sincere lovers of quality popular music.

 sweden's greatest female vocalist!
this cd is exceptional and i cant explain why these were not hits in america.with the exception of the hit she had with abba''the winner takes it all''her only solo hit in america was''can't shake loose''which reached #29 on the hot 100.my favorites songs on this lp are''fly like an eagle'',''one way love''written by jeff lynne of elo,''let it shine'',''i wasnt the one''and''the last time''with peter cetera.''eyes of a woman'' ''cant shake loose''are also outstanding!this woman has fantastic vocals.i paid 30 dollars for this cd a couple of years ago at the local record store.its a must have for abba fans and even if your not give this cd a listen because it worth every cent.
