Love enya, not worth buying if you have any other other albums. Only 5 songs, 2 being actual Christmas songs. Otherwise just a re-hash of other stuff.

Very Good, But
Way too short, It would have been a really supper CD with more. As always Enya was perfect, just not enough..

There are plenty of traditional Christmas Songs that would suit Enya's style. Adeste Fideles for one! Granted, Jingle Bell Rock wouldn't be right for Enya, but a Christmas cd should at least have a Christmas theme. She can do better than this and her fans deserve better. I can't believe they put Celts on this! How many times will this be rereleased? This is just laziness and greed!

I am a worship pastor at Hope Foursquare Church in Snohomish, Washington. This is my first recording project, and it wouldn't have been possible without the help of many talented friends.The following has been copied from the CD liner notes:This has been an amazing journey and at times an overwhelming experience. I thought this would be a fun hobbyist project, but it was more like taking a college course on my days off. If I had realized the audacity of what I was about to take on with this project, I may never have begun. I did the whole thing by myself with no prior experience. (I do not recommend this.) The project took over four years because of the steep learning curve I faced through the whole process, and I seemed to run into trouble of some kind at every turn. (Software bugs, hardware conflicts, I'm a little slow, etc.) I re-recorded several parts more than once, and while many things are not perfect, there comes a point when you have to just move on. There are small glitches scattered throughout the album, but it wouldn't be a proper first project without them, right? My hope for this project is that you will be ministered to, and that it brings you into the presence of God.My first instrument was violin at six years old. I played until I was 13 or 14, but never really learned to read music. I somehow managed to pass auditions and play in the Everett Youth Symphony for two years before it became clear that I was in over my head. Some of my earliest memories are of listening to radio in the early 1970’s. My imagination was captured by the storytelling and my ears were drawn in by the melodies. My own songwriting draws from many musical styles and I always strive to tell an interesting story with a catchy melody. I believe these two things are the basis of every good song.I began to study the piano and sing in various choral groups at the age of eight, but I didn’t discover my passion for music until I began to play guitar in High School. It seemed that overnight everything changed; all I wanted to do was practice and play songs by my favorite bands. Until that time I hadn’t realized that music was more than taking lessons and reading music. I could create my own music and that’s what I loved to do.In 1990 I entered Berklee College of Music in Boston and for three years studied Music Production and Engineering, music theory and ear training. The curriculum at Berklee exposed me to jazz for the first time and challenged me to open my ears to scales and harmonies that were far outside those I was accustomed to.
