Laura Pausini (2nd Album) Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars)  Greatest album ever, period!!!!
Name any classic rock or pop album you loved to death -- this is better. It opens with six straight tracks that, every one of them, for quality of song, arrangement and Laura's performance are 10 out of 10 -- no other album can boast anything similar. Another 10 pops up at number 8. The remainder are good and balance out the styles. These songs are just so powerful, lyrics that cut right to the heart and musical settings that do them justice, and Pausini wringing every drop of emotion out of them.
I know you're tempted to buy the greatest hits, which has four songs -- normally that would cover any song worth having -- but this is a special case. You'd be missing "El valor que no se ve", "El no esta por ti" and "Las Chicas", all fabulous songs.
The basis of my comparison is 35 years of buying English language pop albums, and about 50 Spanish pop albums bought over the past 3 years. Nothing in either English or Spanish pop compares with this masterpiece.
