Rated PG-13. Dolby dig. Widescreen & full screen. Sound & subtitles in Engl. & French. New Jersey wedding chanteur Robbie Hart loses all hope after being abandoned at the altar by his fiancee Linda. Enter Julia, an effervescent ray of light in the shape of a catering-service waitress, who enlists Robbie's help in planning her own wedding--to a sleazy, DeLorean-driving junk bond salesman who tomcats around and treats women like unfeeling slabs of meat. Can our hero win Julia over before she elopes to Las Vegas? Will Billy Idol save the day? And, most importantly, will the fluffy romantic storyline be completely overpowered by the weighty mid-1980s cultural references? THE WEDDING SINGER is cheesy fun for the nostalgically inclined. Steve Buscemi tries to steal the film in an uncredited role as a drunk best man, but that honor actually goes to Alexis Arquette, as "George." Wedding Singer Movie Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) One of my fave movies ever! I don't know how director Frank Coraci, cast, and crew did it, but somehow they've managed to bring back not only the look of the mid 80s, but the feeling of the time as well. Drew Barrymore, Adam Sandler and the entire cast of this movie brought back so much for me so vividly. The clothes, the fads, the music, and everything about this movie makes me so nostalgic for the 80s. If the director or any of the cast are reading this, I've got an idea for a sequel. Why don't Robbie and Julia have a baby and Sammy and Holly get together? Maybe the year could be 1986 or '87. Just a thought. Anyway, fantastic movie! Suprisingly good. I actually loved the 80's--it brought back so many memories. Adam Sandler does an excellent job and I loved the reference to his college roomate and my law school buddy, Eric Lamonsoff. Loved the guest appearances, and my favorite scenes are the little nephew's line to Linda "hey Linda, you're a be-e-itch", and John Lovitz, "I'm reaping all the benefits" and Adam Sandler's nervous breakdown performance at the wedding after his fiance dumps him. NO REVIEW?? Man I waited forever for someone to review this one, and so far...nothing! This was a excellent movie, so funny, and Drew Barrymore is so sweet and cute. I never really liked her before this movie, now I watch everything she does!! Her and Adam Saddler make a terrific team. Steve Buscemi is soooo funny in this as the drunk Brother of the groom! Man, he can act that guy!! This movie was hilarious, and having Billy Idol at the end was a fantastic suprise!! Good job!! Submitted by Stacey (Mnateca, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$10.29 This gory prequel captures the wild, anything-can-happen spirit of the original FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, even reproducing the first film's memorable closing shot. It avoids feeling like a mere rerun, however, by cleverly taking place nearly 100 years ago, around the turn of the century on the Texas-Mexico border. Wedding Singer film
$8.85 Genius of mystery and intrigue Christopher Nolan (MEMENTO, FOLLOWING, INSOMNIA) helms this prequel to the Batman films based on the DC Comics series, explaining how Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale)--the billionaire prince of Gotham whose parents were killed in an alleyway mugging--transformed into the crime-fighting superhero. With flashbacks to his privileged childhood, young Master Wayne, as he is called by the butler Alfred (Michael Caine), develops a terrible fear of bats when he falls through the backyard garden into a hidden cave. As a young adult, Wayne lives among the League of Shadows, a martial arts group in the mountains of Asia. His leaders Ra's al Ghul (Ken Watanabe) and Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson) teach him strength, endurance, and--unfortunately--evil, against which he naturally rebels. Returning to Gotham and reinstating himself as a dapper socialite and the rightful heir to his parents' enterprise, Wayne quickly devises his secret identity, commanding help from the gadgetry expert Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman). With one eye on his childhood playmate Rachel (Katie Holmes)--now a beautiful woman and dedicated lawyer--and the other on his mission to save Gotham from criminal corruption, Batman makes his fledgling debut. But when the blue-blooded mastermind Dr. Crane (Cillian Murphy)--who steals every scene with chilling menace--taints the water system with a hallucinatory substance, Batman realizes he has met his first true opponent. An attitude of grave seriousness elevates BATMAN BEGINS above more cartoony Batman movies, as Nolan crafts a dark drama that thrives on sci-fi intrigue. Bale strides into the role with grace, adding refinement that is seldom seen in action-oriented films. And while the action scenes explode with high-tech ...

Wedding Singer review
$7.89 Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford) is an average family man in Seattle who heads up the hi-tech security team at his local bank. But following a seemingly trivial case of identity theft, Jack's life is turned upside-down when he discovers that his wife (Virginia Madsen) and two kids have been kidnapped. The ransom? A mere $100 million, which the kidnappers, led by Bill Cox (Paul Bettany), want Jack to obtain for them via his expert computer skills. Initially compliant, Jack is soon irked by Cox and his cronies to the point where he decides to get his family back and bring the bad guys to justice.
British Director Richard Loncraine (WIMBLEDON) uses this basic premise to orchestrate a number of frantic set-pieces, while Ford concocts a character similar to his take on Dr. Richard Kimble in THE FUGITIVE. With a mouthful of computer jargon and nimble fingers that tumble frantically over a keyboard ...
