Joseph has been around for about 40 years and this production is excellent. Having the DVD enhances the colours greatly and it will be seen many times this fall.

Very, very, very, good! If you've never seen the show live then the DVD is the next best thing. I saw it "live" 13 times in Canada, Chicago and Utah, and loved every show. Lots of colors, excitement, and the music will keep you bopping in your chair. Even if your chair is in your own living room. Donny does a superb job as Joseph. The cast are great too. There is only one thing that I didn't like. The live narrator who plays a part in this musical, is blonde. The shows I seen the narrator is dark hair. Took me my surprise, I was use to the dark hair. Should of stuck with a dark head. Loose the blonde.

A Technicolor Feast of Sight and Sound!!
As someone who detests most musicals, I was really skeptical about liking Joseph. However, I taped it off of PBS some time ago for my two young children. As we watched it together, my kids fell in love with the story and the songs . . . and so did I. When we got our DVD player, this was the first title I ordered, and it's amazing. I'm sure some of my reaction is the result of the quality gained over VHS, but this production is very well done. The songs are outstanding, but the performances, costumes, and sets are just as good. This is simply spectacular family entertainment. I think part of the reason I like this version is that it is a professional, for-video production, not simply a recording of a stage performance. The camera angles and audio quality make for an impressive viewing experience. Get this and enjoy it!

fabulous!!! i love it!! i saw this 10 times when it was in chicago!! i mean come on donny osmond!! who cant love him!! lets face it girls hes HOT!!!!

73 minutes of playing time, from a show that originally ran for some 15 to 20 minutes, means that this album must be a recording of a contemporary production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's biblical musical. In fact, it is from the highly successful 1991 London Palladium revival which starred Australian actor and pop star Jason Donovan as Joseph and Linzi Hateley as the Narrator. Donovan had a UK number 1 with 'Any Dream Will Do', and the album itself also topped the chart. Nine months after its release it was reported to have sold 500,000 copies.

In M. Night Shyamalan's THE SIXTH SENSE, Bruce Willis plays Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a successful Philadelphia child psychologist who is haunted by the sudden reappearance and suicide of a former patient. Months later Dr. Crowe encounters Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), a troubled, withdrawn young boy who bears a striking similarity to his earlier patient. Dr. Crowe is compelled to help Cole, not only for the boy's sake, but for his own redemption.
