The story starts out with a guy named pascanal and alexander makig. There are a lot of native americans. By icecreamsoda93 (Troy,MI) |
| Centennial is Captivating! The only and the last time I watched 'Centennial' was back in the 90's in junior high in a History class. I loved it! It was inspiring, interesting, and captivating. If you like history, drama, or suspense this is a mini-series you would love to see. By Jannet (Whittier, CA) |
| Truly, a benchmark in TV production! There has been nothing like it before or since. "Centennial" is, though a fiction novel, depicts the settling and taming of the West with such depth and style it is an unmatched "classic". I have been dying to get my own copy of the entire series since I first saw it in 1979. I saw the original showing and reruns several times since. I don't miss it when I know it is showing again on TV. You'll not be disappointed. Tom By a reviewer (Castle Rock, CO) |
| One of the best..... This is one of the best miniseries that has been on TV. It follows the 'life' of a town and does a great job of it. I wish it would come out on CD, I already have the VHS. By a reviewer (Wisconsin) |
