Lisa's Review
To Kill A Mockingbird movie The book was wonderful, and the movie was great. I think everybody who graduated High School read this novel, so there's no need for me to tell you that this is a true American Classic, and though this is about one particular event, in one particular southern town, seen through the eyes of a child, I believe that this is the epitome of many true stories that have taken place(and still do), not just in southern US, but all over America... Excellent movie with great actors.

Enjoyable and moving scenes
To Kill A Mockingbird video This movie brings tears to my
eyes in several instances. To Kill A Mockingbird film Also it
has humor and seems to show the
real way life was in the 1930's
south. Atticus Finch reminds me
of my Mother. One good scene was
the one where, after his pants
were caught in the fence, Jem
told Scout "Atticus has never
whipped me since I can remember
and I aim to keep it that way!"
Another moving scene was Atticus'
final remarks to the jury.
Another enjoyable scene is when
Atticus kills the mad dog and
Jem's jaw drops in amazement.
Another was when Atticus expains
a compromise to Scout. But the
last 15 minutes are the best!
When Scout looks on at Boo Radley seeming to see a man who looked like his Father (old Mr. Radley) and saying "hey Boo." And Sherriff Tate explaining to Atticus that Jem didn't stab Bob Ewell and saying "let the dead bury the dead this time" and the rest of his remarks. I watch this move often!

Get out and buy it....... NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To Kill A Mockingbird review this film is quite simply a classic. To Kill A Mockingbird VHS for sale The acting throughout is of the highest calibur. I'm amazed at how a 9 year old and a 13 year old can act so well and remember so much. I don't really need to comment on Gregory peck as we all know he's one of the best actors ever. All the characters in this masterpiece are brilliant and none would be replaced if i had the power to. This film is one of the very few in which as the credits roll i want more, i get that tingly feeling inside. I love the part where jem, scout and dill are all sneeking up on the radly house and jem goes onto the porch to look through Boo's window. scout and dill see a large shadow coming towords jem and are petrified, so much so they can't shout or move jem sees it and they all run. Jem holds up the wire fence for scout and dill but tries to get under himself gets his bridges stuck and needs scout and dill to take them off and set him free. They all run and dill then has to go in. My favourite quote in this film is when scout says lets go in and he replys, "I can't go in without my pants!!!!!" The look on his face is hilarious. The film is probably my best Ever now. GET IT, GO OUT AND GET IT NOW!!!

A lot like my childhood! Wonderful movie! Highly recommend!!
To Kill A Mockingbird video When Scot, Jem and Dill are running around playing outside and especially when they are snicking around after dark playing and doing things kids do, riding in the tire and playing under the house, that is the way my sister and I use to do when we were kids. Running around bare-footed in the summer time. Even when it is coming on and the credits are rolling Scott humming while she is coloring, my sister and I use to act the same way. Atticus is so strong and loving to his children. At the end of the movie when it said he would be in Jem's room when he woke up the next day, I felt like crying, that shows so much love for those kids. And how Scott was sitting in his lap!! When Scott took Boo back home walking with him holding his hand and the nararator saying how it felt to stand on the Railey porch, those words touch your heart. When you can step inside another person and really feel how they feel and see how they live, like Atticus told Scott that day when they were sitting on the porch in the swing. Wow!! I have never seen another movie that teaches the viewer so many life lessons. This will remain one of my all time movies, ever!! I only wish Harper Lee could have written another book. I can not imagine how wonderful it would have been!! I am going to get my sister this 50th Anniversary copy for her upcoming birthday! She will be 59.
