 the last good one for king elton.
as much as it pains me to say this but elton was supposed to be cool but then when the album and the rolling stone article came out many people are out to dethrone him. however, blue moves was a good seller and iw as not until the lion king made the fans love him again. the double album is so hard to find that it is now an import. well i finally got this and i am a proud owner of blue moves. while not as well known as goodbye yellow brick road, it was an underrated album that is a cult smash among elton fans. well the lion king maybe good but this is bette. bite your lip is a fun disco/gospel tune, where's the shoorah is more gospel, boogie pilgrim is funk but there are ballads too. now be warned this album is going to depress you but the final song more than makes up for it. 5/5. as far as the charts go it should have gone into number one instead it is number 2. oh well you can't have everything.
