| | Bon Jovi 7800 Fahrenheit CD - Import Bon Jovi Discography of CDs
Digitally remastered using 20-bit technology by George Marino (1998, Sterling Sound, New York, New York).
This remastered album from the classic hair rockers features tracks such as "In And Out of Love."
From the first mega-chorus shout of the album-opening "In and Out of Love," it's obvious that 7800 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT marks an evolution from Bon Jovi's debut. The image got bigger and so did the sound. The album went gold, and a year later the band shot to the stratosphere with SLIPPERY WHEN WET.
"The Price of Love" is a tight, well-written rocker categorized by its memorable Bon Jovi hook. "Only Lonely" is perfect pop metal with a great riff and even catchier solo. "Silent Night" is a true power ballad, before the term denoted the mandatory first single from every hair band. "Tokyo Road," the band's homage to far-Eastern pleasures, is a consistent live favorite. "The Hardest Part Is the Night" is a mid-tempo rocker that features a creative solo from Richie Sambora. Tico Torres lets loose on the skins on the blistering and gritty "Always Run to You." A mid-'80s crunchy metal riff combines with a polished keyboard-crafted instrumental frame of "Secret Dreams." Bon Jovi took melody and heavy rock to the next level on this thoroughly mature effort.

$14.79 As always, frontman Chad Kroeger's gritty voice remains Nickelback's calling card, and his emotive singing carries every tune, most notably the nostalgic "Photograph" and "Far Away," a tender, echo-laden ballad. Kroger has never met a guitar effect that he didn't like, as evidenced by the revved-up "Next ...

7800 Fahrenheit music CDs
$18.25 The only Man album recorded without Deke Leonard is something of a curiosity, a view of the band without the frontman who wrote most of their material. As might be expected, the vocals on this album are less accomplished and further back in the mix, but that is actually an asset in this case. Lacking ...

$12.69 Swimming Towards the Sun is a collective tribute to Simple Minds from 15 different indie bands. The opening track by Simon Hayward is a mellow and radically reinterpreted rendition of Scar, from the album Reel to Reel Cacophony. The listener is then strapped into a virtual rocket which is New Gold Dream by techno masters, The Echoing Green. The adrenaline keeps pumping with Piston Picnique's radical reinvention of Seeing Out the Angel. This track, in particular, got rave reviews from Jim Kerr, lead singer of Simple Minds. He even claimed that ...
| | Ultimate Toni Braxton CD (2003) Slider Pack
7800 Fahrenheit music CDs
$9.45 Perhaps the greatest of Toni Braxton's seemingly endless talents is her ability to sing anything from the most sensual modern soul to unabashedly romantic MOR ballads, all with equal conviction and authenticity. ULTIMATE TONI BRAXTON spotlights both of those sides of the diva's musical personality, and many other places in between. The collection lives up to its name, covering all of the biggest hits Braxton scored in the 1990s and early '00s. From the down-and-dirty groaning of "Seven Whole Days" (presented here in a particularly funky live version) to the aching, lump-in-the-throat swoon of her most recognizable song, "Unbreak My Heart," Braxton is never less than fully committed to the material, both technically and emotionally. It helps, of course, that in Babyface she had one of the all-time great R&B songsmiths. This album is as much a showcase for Kenny "Babyface" ...
