William C. Crews, vocalist, keyboardist and arranger, was born in Henderson, NC and grew up in the adjacent town of Warrenton, NC. The youngest of five brothers and sisters, music was always a mainstay in the Crews household. Few were surprised when William became the featured male soloist for the 1969 North Carolina State University Choir Christmas Concert. Following his Mother?s untimely death, he chose to study music theory, voice, composition and production. He also honed his skills with several R&B musical groups.
