| | Tammy Wynette Live CD - Import Tammy Wynette Discography of CDs
This is a 1970s period live outing from Goldies -- and who knows if it comes from a single gig -- by Tammy Wynette. That said, the singer is an absolutely top form here, and performs some of her biggest hits as well as country standards. Of course, "Stand by Your Man" is here, as are "My Man Understands," "Rocky Top," "Another Chance," "'Til I Can Make It on My Own," and "Take Me to Your World." There are also a couple of medleys, one of then-current hits in "What a Difference You've Made in My Life" and "You Light Up My Life," and one of spirituals "Amazing Grace," "I'll Fly Away," "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," and "I Saw the Light." In other words, whether it is from a single show or a few of them pasted together by virtue of technology, this is top-notch Wynette, and fans would be well served to pick this one up. The sound quality is terrific and the price is certainly right. ~ Thom Jurek Live Review

Live songs
$13.85 "If ever there was proof that Texas makes 'em bigger than life, Tony Campise is it." His talent surpasses the usual saxophone player. He is virtually a master of any woodwind instrument, including the tenor and alto saxophone, piccolo, flute, and bass flute. His consummate artistry has been widely recognized by such diverse talents as Willie Nelson, Joe Henderson, Eric Johnson, Phil Woods, Billy Gibbons, and Lyle Lovett.Campise's first professional breakthrough occurred in the mid-70's, when he was invited to play lead alto in the Stan Kenton band. After years of constant touring, Campise returned to Texas and backed a number of world class artists. A who's who list of disparate names includes: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Lyle Lovett, Arnett Cobb, Sarah Vaughan, Sam and Dave, Isaac Hayes, Joe Henderson, and Lee Konitz. Clint Eastwood, upon recommendation from Lennie Niehaus (who wrote sound tracks for "Bird" and "Unforgiven"), became a Campise fan while in Austin filming "A Perfect World". Campise continues to lead his own band and a big band on a regular basis, plays jazz fests, does saxophone clinics currently representing Boosey & Hawkes Keilwerth saxophones and selectively records as a sideman. Tony Campise's Once in a Blue Moon was voted for nomination as "Best Jazz Album of the Year" and "Best Instrumental Solo" by NARAS for the 1992 Grammies. The album won the Honorable Mention as "Best Jazz Album of the Year" by NAIRD. Once in a Blue Moon was in the top twenty of Billboard Jazz charts for three months, while reaching #3 on Gavin and R&R in the national radio charts. "Once in a Blue Moon" was picked as one of the top ...

$22.35 The 1983 follow-up to Johnny Warman's Australian hit, Walking into Mirrors, but not destined for anywhere near the attention of its predecessor, From the Jungle to the New Horizons nevertheless follows very much in that album's electrifying mode, hurling the best in current recording technology into the mix and taking full advantage of his backing band as well -- Peter Gabriel worked with several ...

| | Judgehydrogen Atheistic God CD (2007)
Live CD music
$10.65 "Judgehydrogen eclipses the Swans most foreboding moments on 'Atheistic God.' Phenomenal are the foreboding slomo hymns such as "Your Warning" and "Sunless Waters", or monumental heavy tracks like "Cursed Name,'that leaves little doubt of the coming man-made apocalypse of which the concept of the album is based. The tracks cut deeply into the subconscious and reverberates in the psyche of the listener. The intense compositions reach a frightening and nightmarish noveau that do not only rely on Judgehydrogen's deep and sinister voice. The nightmarish atmosphere of these tracks leaves little room for optimism. You can experience this masterwork at his website- http:// judgehydrogen "OBLIVEON MAGAZINE 20079 out of 10 - MKJUDGEHYDROGEN is a great example of XXI century underground hero. And it's not because his über-cool artistic moniker evokes that of a superhero. It's simply because of his solid underground ethics and his admirable artistic courage and honesty. But may I start from the beginning!Geography converted me into a Myspacer: suddenly finding myself in an outlandish place where contemporary underground music is simply not part of the landscape made me seek a practical solution. I run into Judgehydrogen quite early on and his music immediately struck me as highly interesting. I fell in love with one of his tracks in particular and I soon realized that JH also had one quality that many Myspacer wannabe musicians sadly lack: he was actually an intelligent guy willing to share his thoughts. A few months on, he released his first album while I realized my temporary break with the world of music journalism was over. Efforts like this album had to be talked about, investigated and celebrated!Upon receiving Judgehydrogen's promo pack I was prepared for an intense listen, but as the album unfolded and got engrossed deeper and deeper into the visionary, chilling lyrics, I knew this stunning work would unfold more surprises. 'Atheistic God' is not a journey for the faint hearted: like a dark genetic imprint, the stifling intensity is relentlessly sustained throughout the nine 'apocalyptic dirges' (that's how the artist himself aptly describes the tracks), the longest of which unfolds through just over 12 minutes of breathless bleakness. In spite of the sparse displays of blatant sonic brutality this IS in fact a very EXTREME album in the way it stirs the soul to feel unsavory emotions, coerces the imagination into black and white visions, ...
