Eaten Alive songs Product Information
Eaten Alive album for sale by Diana Ross was released Feb 29, 2000 on the RCA label. Eaten Alive CD music The title track was a Top Ten R&B hit, thanks in part to Michael Jackson's presence on background vocals, and another single also made the charts. ||RE: EATIN' ALIVE CD/LP RCA 1985.|
I JUST LOVE THE TITLE TRACK WRITTEN BY BARRY GIBB OF THE BEE GEES FAME. BACKGROUND VOCALS BY MICHAEL JACKSON. NOT MY FAVORITE DIANA RCA LP/CD!!. THIS A WONDERFUL CD. WITH NO. #1 BRITISH SMASH HIT: CHAIN REACTION. I LOVE THE EXTENDED RE-MIX OF EATIN' ALIVE. THIS CD/LP & SINGLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BIGGER HIT! HERE IN THE USA?!!. STAND OUT TRACKS ARE: OH! TEACHER, EXPERIENCE, LOVE ON THE LINE, CRIME OF PASSION, [I LOVE] BEING IN LOVE WITH YOU. YOU WILL ENJOY MS. ROSS FROM 1985. I AM GLAD IT WAS REISSUED. HER BEST YEARS WERE WITH MOTOWN RECORDS. FOUR GREAT! SUPREME STARS FOR THIS ALBUM.

Trying to revive her once-hot Motown career, and hoping for RCA to see some profit from their 1981 multi-million dollar investment in Diana Ross, the army of the Brothers Gibb were called in on this, Ross' fifth studio album for RCA. As an added precaution to be sure this would put her back in the US "Top 10", Michael Jackson was also on board to co-write, co-produce and contribute vocals on the title track "Eaten Alive", but the result was uneven at best. The album was a mixed bag of some inspired ( the Motownish "Chain Reaction")but most insipid ("More and More"). The Gibb formula worked wonders in the early 1980's for Barbra Streisand, Dionne Warwick and Kenny Rogers (giving each artist successful albums and "top 10" singles), but by 1985 was passe and uninteresting, doing nothing for Ross in the USA. Too little, too late - way too late in Ross' case.

||SIMPLY HER FINEST!!!|
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST RCA RECORDING AND 80īTH RECORDING SHE MADE. BUT ALSO MAYBE ONE OF HER FINEST EVER. AND OF COURSE ITīS BECAUSE OF BARRY GIBB WHO PRODUCED IT, AND WROTE THE SONGS. AFTER THIS BACK IN 1985 NEITHER DIANA OR BARRY DID ANYTHING THAT LEAVES A BOOK MARK. BUT HERE THEY WERE BOTH ON TOP FOR THE LAST TIME.
