| | Kuschelrock, Vol. 10 CD
KUSCHELROCK Y.10 is compilation of radio hits including "Killing Me Softly" by The Fugees, "How Deep Is Your Love" by Take That, and "Limelight" by Bonnie Tyler, among others.
Distributed in Europe, the Kuschelrock series is often uneven in its attempts to throw pop hits of all stripes together in one package, taking little consideration into the fact that most people don't have wildly diverse taste in music. The tenth volume features another 36 tracks spread across two discs. Most of the selections were hits between the mid-'80s and the mid-'90s, and while they're not all ballads, they favor some sort of sentimentality or bombastic earnestness. Few people could sit through the whole process; if you can, you have a very voracious appetite -- either that or you're very patient. Included: George Michael's "Father Figure," Mike + the Mechanics' "Help Me," Cat Stevens' "Father and Son," Everything but the Girl's "Missing," and Tom Petty's "Into the Great Wide Open." ~ Andy Kellman

Kuschelrock, Vol. 10 songs
$7.99 Ready to take you on an adventure, The Christopher Complex emerges onto the music scene with a sound to take your mind and body on a musical journey with the release of his new EP “Let’s Go.” A soulful R&B singer, he uses Funk as his foundation, and borrows styles from other music genres such as jazz, pop, rock, dance from various decades. His lyrical presentation evokes intense emotion while the production of music enhances his feelings onto his listener. He has adopted this spirit from his influences Prince, James Brown, Parliament Funkadelic, The Jacksons, Sly and the Family Stone to name a few, as well as the new greats, D’Angelo, Lenny Kravitz and Maxwell. Brooklyn born with Southern roots, The Christopher Complex, not only a singer but a songwriter and producer, is not afraid to take on the mainstream by writing and playing music that record companies are afraid to release: risk taking material that are in their artists’ catalogs. He’s not concerned about following what is the popular sound. He wants to contribute a new vibration to music. “It would be easier to play and sing what everyone else is singing about, but, it doesn’t set you apart from the masses. I like to play what I like and just hope that others like it too,” he says. This isn’t The Christopher Complex’s first exposure to the music business. More than a decade ago he began developing his musical talents, style and acumen as a partner in a production company called M.I.C. Entertainment. M.I.C. was a company that managed local R&B singers, Hip Hop and Rap artists. The Complex took on the role of Artist Developer. In this capacity he was the vocal coach and image consultant, wrote and co-wrote the artists’ songs, did their music productions and handled their song publishing. With no formal training, he taught himself how to play the keyboard, the rhythm, acoustic and bass guitars. Through his company and his self training, he began to cultivate a theory of his sound and understand the music business. ...
