Vaya Con Dios is the group name behind Belgian chanteuse/lyricist/ producer Dani Klein. Most successful are tracks like "Farewell Song" and "Brave Jane" that maintain a chic Euro-centricity with a splash of 60s Dusty Springfield soul. The ground gets shakier when Klein turns to other forms of American roots music for inspiration -- the country influences on "Farewell Song" are handled in particularly hamfisted fashion, although the bluesy "Muddy Waters" fares much better. Time Flies, is an interesting juxtaposition of cultures. ~ Roch Parisien Vaya Con Dios Time Flies Songs | 1. | Time Flies |

| Time Flies Music Review Average Rating: (4.8 out of 5 stars) Big in Belgium ! Yes, she really is, big in Belgium. It feels good to know that people on three different continents like the music of this Belgian lady. Great music, isn't it ? One of the best out of the 90s When will "our" Western divas learn that they have to sing from the heart like VCD in this marvellous album?! "Still a man" tells it like it is. Luckily she saveed the 90s from total pop rock oblivion! Thanx VCD!! Submitted by dragstripfreaky (Sydney,NSW,Australia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
brings back the beaches... I took a trip to Mexico with my second family and they had this cd in the house we stayed at. We played it on repeat for a week straight. I never got sick of hearing it. And everytime I hear any of the songs it takes me right back to the beach in Mexico... Submitted by christie (harrisburg, pa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Time Flies album
$7.99 Benny Mardones' self titled 1989 album contains a newly recorded version of "Into the Night," a ballad built around his soothing voice and a late-night piano sound, which reached number 11 on Billboard's Top 40 nine years prior. The newer single has a more seductive feel to it and actually reached number 20 on the charts in July of 1989. "Into the Night" is truly the strongest tune out of the album's ten-song assortment, which are all meek love songs backed by hollow guitar and keyboards. Songs like "I'll ...
| | Let It Be CD (1970)
Time Flies CD music
$15.65 LET IT BE...NAKED contains a FLY ON THE WALL bonus disc including song rehearsals and conversation snatches.
Includes liner notes by Kevin Howlett and interview excerpts with The Beatles
Original Soundtrack/The Beatles: Paul McCartney (vocals, guitar, piano, bass instrument); John Lennon, George Harrison (vocals, guitar); Ringo Starr (drums).
In its original form, LET IT BE signaled the end of an era, closing the book on the Beatles, as well as literally and figuratively marking the end of the '60s. The 1970 release evolved from friction-filled sessions the Beatles intended to be an organic, bare-bones return to their roots. Instead, the endless hours of tapes were eventually handed over to Phil Spector, since neither the quickly splintering Beatles nor their longtime producer George Martin wanted to sift through the voluminous results.
LET IT BE... NAKED sets the record straight, revisiting the contentious sessions, stripping away the Spectorian orchestrations, reworking the running order, and losing all extemporaneous in-studio banter. On this version of the album, filler tracks ("Dig It," "Maggie Mae") are dropped, ...

| | Guy Davis Butt Naked Free CD (2000)
Time Flies music CDs
$14.45 Armed with both 6- and 12-string guitars and an engagingly raspy singing style, Guy Davis carries on the legacy of country-blues alongside a small class of younger musicians that includes Keb' Mo, Corey Harris and Alvin Youngblood-Hart. On his fourth album, Davis pens a broad range of songs that touch on broken dreams ("Raining In My Soul"), teenage femme fatales ("Sugarbelle Blue") and high-stakes gambling ("Waiting On The Cards To Fall").
Family serves as important motivation for this raconteur (whose parents are actors Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee). Results of this inspiration include the fleet-fingered instrumental "The Place Where I Come From (Butt Naked Free)" inspired by Davis' then infant son's crazy-legs dance and the jaunty "Ain't No Bluesman," written for this same child to sing when he got older. Elsewhere, Davis looked to Blind Willie McTell for a strolling version of his "Writing Paper Blues" (fleshed out by organist T-Bone Walk and drummer Levon Helm). Other highlights include the bittersweet "Let Me Stay Awhile" and "High Flying Rocket," a humorous ...

| | Doris Day 1960'S Singles CD (2002)
Time Flies album
$10.59 Just like Elvis Presley over at RCA, Doris Day's work for Columbia during the early and mid-'60s benefited from crack producers, the best session players in the business, and one of the purest, most distinctive vocalists of the century. Unfortunately, none of those positives made much of a difference when both singers were confronted with material of the poorest quality. This Collectables compilation focuses on Day's pop-slanted work of the '60s, and though she never reached the Top 40 after 1958, the songs will have a similarly curious attraction for a limited number of fans who appreciate great singers even when they're not singing great material. ...

| | Primary 5 Go CD (2007) (Import)
Time Flies CD music
$15.49 A sparkling, sun-drenched blast of melodic guitar pop, Go is a perfect follow-up to drummer turned bandleader Paul Quinn and his band the Primary 5's 2004 debut, North Pole. Featuring more of Quinn's heartfelt, positive, and catchy '60s-influenced rock, the album also showcases the multi-instrumental talents of Quinn's creative partner in crime, Ryan Currie. Together, Quinn and Currie have crafted a superb album equal to its predecessor in every way -- and perhaps even a little better. Having proven himself a talented songwriter on North Pole, Quinn seems to have relaxed a bit into his abilities, and the songs here are assured, effortless, and utterly engaging. To these ends, tracks like romantic and driving "2 A.M." and the pastoral "Sunsets" are perfect pop tunes that sound something along ...
