Colour Code White music CDs
$6.09 This 1998 reissue contains 5 bonus tracks (including the previously
unreleased "White Christmas") not included on the original release.
John Denver's music always had a warm, home-spun quality to it, so it isn't surprising that his 1975 holiday effort, Rocky Mountain Christmas, is a wonderfully low-key and friendly Christmas album. Divided between classic carols and new numbers, such as the fine "Aspenglow" and "Christmas for Cowboys," the album is an appealing, pretty record, perfect for late nights by the fireside. The 1998 CD reissue adds five bonus tracks: "Jingle Bells," "White Christmas," "The Music is You," "Perhaps ...

| | Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon CD (1973)
Colour Code White album
$14.49 DARK SIDE OF THE MOON was a benchmark record. It turned the musical world on its ear with a hitherto unseen combination of sounds, and changed things considerably for Pink Floyd. For this project, Pink Floyd resurrected older and unfinished numbers, some of which came from the multitude of soundtracks the band members had previously worked on. The film ZABRISKIE POINT, a study of American materialism from a foreigner's perspective, provided "Us and Them" (originally titled "The Violence Sequence"). Waters rewrote "Breathe" after its appearance on his and avant-garde composer Ron Geesin's score for THE BODY, a surreal medical ...

| | Feathermerchants Unarmed Against The Dark CD (2003)
Colour Code White music CDs
$16.45 For Unarmed Against the Dark, their second album, N.Y.C.'s Feathermerchants acquired not only a new vocalist -- Shannon Kennedy having replaced Alison Winston and Erin O'Hara -- but also a more American pop/rock style. Gone are the Irish and Middle Eastern influences; there's barely a bouzouki to be heard here. The result is an album undeniably solid, with Kennedy's quavering yet adamant voice lending the songs a sincere vitality. Like the equally under-the-radar Scoldees, the Feathermerchants' strength lie in their subtlety and near-familial sense of cooperation as musicians. No one player attempts to outshine another, which allows the songs to breathe and grow organically. Beyond Kennedy's voice, the most interesting aspect to Unarmed Against the Dark is its droning drum sound, a thick texture that betrays the band's background in TV composition work. And the most interesting song, oddly, is the one Kennedy doesn't sing: guitarist Pete Veru more than ably takes the reins on his own composition, the swirling, cinematic "Farmers' Night Out." There aren't any huge pop hooks on this record, only a faithful cover of the Psychedelic Furs' "Heartbreak Beat" sounding much like a radio single, but the intelligent lyrics and intricate deliveries make this one of the better unheralded AAA albums of 2003. ~ Joseph McCombs
"A soothing exercise in simple, laid-back pop, Unarmed Against the Dark is certain to impress Triple A fans." - CMJ New Music Report"Intricate arrangements and expert musicianship ... permeate the entire album. ...The guitar playing is subtle yet entrancing, the vocals compelling and the song ('Dan') provocative -- a perfect recipe for Triple A." - Friday Morning Quarterback"Feathermerchants dust the ears with a light, adult alternative approach on Unarmed Against the Dark. Fans of Cowboy Junkies and Beth Orton will feel kinship, especially in Shannon Kennedy's vocals. - Knight-Ridder News Service"(Feathermerchants') excellent cover of the Psychedelic Furs classic, 'Heartbreak Beat' ... captures a warmth and tenderness that the original glosses over."- CMJ New Music Monthly August 2003"Distinct ...

| | Bill Drake Send Me CD (2008)
Colour Code White songs
$9.85 Send Me is a compilation of many of Bill Drake's best songs. The album contains timeless missions songs like "Open My Heart", "Move Through Me", and "Sins of Omisson". It has on it Bill's first mission song, "Haunting Eyes", and also has on it one of Bill's most loved songs ever, the powerfully emotive "Mt. Moriah".For anyone who has heard Bill's music, or heard Bill live in concert, one thing comes through unmistakably clear: this man, his music, his lyrics, and his passion are authentic. No messing around, no baby food, no compromise. The comparison to the late Keith Green is justifiable, as Bill's ability on piano and passionate songwriting coupled with his missionary lifestyle backup the parallel to a man who is renown worldwide for striving to be the "real thing", a person who is not a hypocrite when it comes to living out not only what they believe, but also what they implore others to invest their lives in. Bill is fond of saying, "If the purpose of ...
