If you are like me and love fusion, but the minute someone starts to sing you start to puke, you will like about 1/2 of this CD.

John McLaughlin seems to live in two different worlds--the techno-genius with tons of technique OR gushy heart wrenching ballads.

| Flashes of Brilliance, Daggers of Pain
As others have said, sappy lyrics and vocals on some really forgettable songs make 1/2 of this album disposable. But other tracks such as "Lotus Feet" and "All in the Family" show some really brilliant playing and composition.
