| | Best Of The Guess Who CD (1977) Bonus Tracks
Kifak Inta CD music
$6.79 The Guess Who always seemed a bit like the Canadian predecessor/counterpart to Grand Funk Railroad, but they typically fared far better with the critics because of the versatility that they possessed. That trait is very evident on this collection of hits and great songs. From the opening "These Eyes," with its orchestral strings and Zombies-like baroque pop feel to the classic AOR crunge of "American Woman," the Guess Who played a wide variety of music. It is sometimes hard to believe that the same group that brought the world the jazzy "Undun" and the CS&N-ish hippie anthem "Share the Land" is also responsible for the rocking "No Time." This 11-track collection paints a very entertaining picture of a mutli-talented band and is a perfect introduction for the casual fan. ~ Gary Hill and Tim Sendra

| | Celtic Thunder The Show CD (2008)
Kifak Inta CD music
$13.65 CELTIC THUNDER THE SHOW, the audio companion for the popular PBS television special, showcases the five Irish vocalists in their ideal setting, a stage in Dublin. Celtic Thunder thrives on the contrast of its various voices (four tenors and a baritone) creating a surreal musical landscape. Paul Byrum's assured operatic tones on "Remember Me (Recuerdeme)" crest against the doleful pop of Ryan Kelly's "Desperado" and the nascent rumble of Darien McGinty on "Come By the Hills." The concert is tied together by the steady hand of songwriter/pianist Phil Coulter, who also produced the show.

| | Steeleye Span Parcel Of Rogues CD (1973)
Kifak Inta music CDs
$14.05 1973's PARCEL OF ROGUES is one of Steeleye Span's best albums, representing the era when the group's balance between traditional English folk music and good ol' rock and roll was at its surest. Neither too rock for the folk purists nor too twee for the rockers, PARCEL OF ROGUES has charms to delight both camps.
This is most clear on the opening track "One Misty Moisty Morning," one of Steeleye Span's finest songs. Maddy Prior's beautiful, clear voice mixes with the half-acoustic/half-electric arrangement seamlessly, and the song's haunting refrain becomes a actual pop hook by its second appearance. The album also features excellent vocals by Tim Hart and the band's other members, including Peter Knight and Bob Johnson's excellent rendition of "Hares on the Mountain." The album's other highlight, "Alison Gross," is probably the closest thing to an all-out rock song the group ever recorded.

| | Chris Bellamy Blues On The Carolina Coast Live CD (2008)
Kifak Inta album
$18.19 This cd was a lot of fun to make. We more or less made it on the fly so to speak. I was in Masonboro Sound Recording in Wilmington,NC with engineer Dave Meyer recording a solo CD called "Time, Tide and Tackle". Living my adult life in Wilmington,N.C. I had played with good friend and jazz great,UNCW jazz instructor Bob Russell. Also,a long time friend and great drummer,"D Squared" or otherwise known as Dan Dixon was now living in Wilmington,NC after touring years with some of North Carolina's best acts. We had played a few gigs together and it had always gone well. I had recorded Chris Bellamy,Down in the keys Live with Key Players a few years earlier and it had come out well. That was kind of a last minute project as well. So that is where the idea started. I said to Dave,"let's do a live cd this Sunday". He looked at me and said, O.K. as if I'd lost my mind. So I got up with everybody and with no rehearsal, made plans for a Sunday afternoon live recording session. I called my friend Dan Siebert and asked if he could get the club house in "The Waterford" outside of Wilmington,NC. He said sure so we decided to get some barbeque, fix'ns and a few adult beverages and make a cd. Dave Meyer said O.K.and I was so serious that I had tickets to the Delbert McClinton Tater Jam Concert and elected not to go so as I would not have a large hang over on the day of recording. It was a good thing I stayed home that night. On recording day the energy level was high and I needed all my wits about me. Having a few drinks with our live audience, some fine barbeque pork and fix'ns,we took a bunch of pictures and started playing. It just felt right! Guitar player Bobby Russell was on fire and drummer Dan Dixon was dead on. So all I had to do was sing and play guitar! It was great! A lot of magical musical moments happened that day! It was as if Delbert McClinton had come to see us. With songs by Ray Charles,Hoagy Carmichael and Eddy Arnold, away we went. We played some of our favorite songs that I had written over the years and everyone had a great time. We managed to get it down on this CD for you! I hope you enjoy this music as much as we did making it! Thanks for stopping by,Sincerely, Chris Bellamy.
