I've been a huge fan of Iron Maiden and Helloween since the beginning. And Gamma ray is every bit as good. They are one of the best bands ever! Period!
If you have never heard the "Rays" this is a great intro album. It gives you a solid over view of their catalog. Listen to this, and you'll be hooked!
You won't be able to get your hands on all their CD's fast enough. Kai's in a league with Steve Harris as the best composers of our day!

This compilation shows why Kai Hansen is one of the best power metal composers and guitar players. This is for every one who likes powerful music with great guitars.

The older songs were my favorites, and every new album I like better than the last. This is a very good compilation album, and all of the older songs are redone, the newer songs are remixed.

With most contemporary country artists, you could guarantee that a song called "American Ride" would be a slice of jingoism, but Toby Keith isn't like most country singers. His "American Ride" casts a cynical eye at desperate housewives and wannabe pop stars, not celebrating down-home values but wondering where we're all headed on this American Ride at the end of the 2000s, a sentiment not all that far removed from some of Keith's previous social commentary, which makes it a mild surprise that it is the only song here that doesn't come from his own pen. As superb and striking as it is, it's not necessarily a good keystone for the rest of the record, which does have a few tougher numbers that pick up on the lean, mean vibe of 2008's THAT DON'T MAKE ME A BAD GUY -- "Every Dog Has Its Day," the sly "If I Had One," and the heavy blues stomp "Loaded" -- but spends more time on the softer side, even when he kicks up a bit of dust on the dancefloor on "You Can't Read My Mind" or does a funny, respectful salute to military life on "Ballad of Balad." TRICK OF THE TAIL was Genesis' first LP after the departure of Peter Gabriel.
This was Genesis' first album following the departure of vocalist Peter Gabriel. After ascending the heights of conceptual progressive rock on the preceding THE LAMB LIES DOWN ON BROADWAY, Genesis was left between a rock and a hard place, trying to define its identity anew. With the odds against them they put in a fine showing on TRICK OF THE TAIL. The general musical mode is similar to that of LAMB--longish songs with well developed structures and arrangements and a straighter rock feel than the band's early work.
