| Live In London Music Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) God inspired music! I cut my teeth on Andrae Crouch, as a young believer. That was over 27 years ago. After all these years I finally got to hear "Live in London" once again and it was like "deja vu all over again". Listen to "I'll keep on loving You Lord" and tell me that goosebumps don't race across your skin! Andrae, perhaps the modern equivalent of a John or Charles Wesley. Real 70's sound I was surprised at the glitzy sound of this CD. Having heard a lot of Crouch's music being sung by others, I was expecting something more powerful. This CD reminds me of the BeeGees. Submitted by a reviewer (Cape Girardeau, MO, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Andrae at his very best! This CD offers a fantastic combination of vocals, praise & worship, and instrumentals. Listening to this CD emanates Andrae's deep spiritual beliefs set forth in what he does best...singing. The selection of songs had praising the Lord righ along with the live audience. It was indeed a blessing. Submitted by Ren (Delaware, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$9.75 Performed by The Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Leopold Stokowski.
Leopold Strokowski's 1940 recordings with the Philadelphia Orchestra for the movie Fantasia were landmarks on several counts. Apart from attempting to bring classical music to the masses in the theater, the soundtrack album -- which came out on LP in the 1950s -- was one of the earliest stereo recordings, featuring some of the most enjoyable ...
| | Donnie Mcclurkin Story: From Darkness..To Light DVD (2004)
Live In London album
$15.59 This authorized biopic of Grammy-winning gospel artist Donnie McClurkin is an inspirational tale of monumental trials and miraculous triumph. Born into a household fraught with drug abuse and violence, McClurkin was saved by his faith in the Lord and his love of gospel music, and formed his first group as a teenager. His later bout with leukemia was also surmounted, and the artist went on to find success with his debut album on Warner Brothers. McClurkin's music takes on heightened meaning and added depth as he explores his struggles with his sexuality and his troubled past. He performs his multi-platinum ...

| | Fred Hammond Speak Those Things: Pol Chapter 3 CD (2002)
Live In London songs
$7.69 Biz insiders call Fred Hammond "the Babyface of gospel," due to his multitude of talents. Skilled as a producer, singer, songwriter, musician, and label boss, Hammond made music news with the groups Commissioned and Radical For Christ, and has made more inroads into the music mainstream then nearly any other contemporary gospel artist. The third chapter of Hammond's PAGES OF LIFE series arrives in sufficiently resplendent fashion to match the expectations of fans.
The breadth of Hammond's musicianship is evident throughout; the undulating "Show Yourself Strong" flirts with Latin rhythms, while "You are My Daily Bread" opens with a highly syncopated, African-sounding beat, and Mary Mary makes a guest appearance, adding some sassy R&B vocals to the hip-hop-inflected "Great." But at the end of the day, it's the impassioned voices of Hammond and his choir delivering heartfelt songs of praise that make up the spiritual center of SPEAK THOSE THINGS.

| | Grand Slam Glasgow Kiss CD (2008)
Live In London CD music
$14.05 Phil Lynott's Grand Slam coexisted with Thin Lizzy from 1984 to 1985. They never recorded an official album, but did play live shows and recorded demos during the wildly strict rehearsals Lynott held. Glasgow Kiss was recorded live at the Glasgow Mayfair in 1984. The recording source is a really dodgy-sounding bootleg tape from the collection of Grand Slam's keyboardist (who is overbearing throughout), Mark Stanway (formerly of the shoddy Brit metallers Magnum). The set consists of a number of Lynott originals and Lizzy tunes, including "Parisienne Walkways," "Crime Rate Is Going Up," and "Sarah." "Nineteen" is a killer metallic original as well as a vehicle for lead guitarist Laurence Archer. "Yellow Pearl" is pure Lynott in the verse and pure Stanway up front with his cheesy synth. It's important to remember that Lynott, along with his desire for an ever harder-rocking Thin Lizzy, also desired to be a pop ...
