Last Predators album
$19.89 Of the "big four" original thrash bands (the other three being Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth), Slayer was the least compromising and most consistent. As such, 2009's WORLD PAINTED BLOOD recalled more than the title of Slayer's 1986 masterpiece REIGN IN BLOOD; it shared the earlier album's ferocious aggression and trademark speed metal-meets-hardcore sound. Throughout, the sound is lean and mean, with bassist/vocalist Tom Araya's ...
| | Stryper Murder By Pride CD (2009)
Last Predators CD music
$10.65 After the original Stryper lineup (minus bassist Tim Gaines) reunited for 2005's somewhat alternative/nu-metal tinged REBORN, the band made a stylistic return to form with MURDER BY PRIDE. Brimming with harmonized twin guitar leads, big hair metal-approved shout-along hooks, and Michael Sweet's trademark soaring, Dennis ...
| | Atreyu Congregation Of The Damned CD (2009)
Last Predators music CDs
$11.65 On their latest effort, Atreyu come with more of the same metalcore that listeners have come to expect from the band. All of the familiar elements are in place, with the alternating screaming/soaring vocals, thundering double bass drumming, and big, crunchy riffage. The difference here is that the band seems to have mellowed out a bit, opting for a more melodic approach. Like their last album, the songs here feel somewhat restrained, like they're just dying to break free of the polished production. The intensity of SUICIDE NOTES and BUTTERFLY KISSES seems to have been put out to pasture, with the songs feeling more deliberately poppy.

Last Predators songs
$10.15 In the decades following their formation, 7 Seconds tirelessly carried the torch of Southern California hardcore punk with unmatched ferocity and determination. TAKE IT BACK, TAKE IT ON, TAKE IT OVER!, their 2005 melodic thrash-fest, proves the band is vital as ever. The set list--consisting of three-chord songs chiseled into tight structures--blasts by with brute force. With hardly a pause between tracks (which usually clock in under two minutes), the listener barely has time to exhale.
In addition to the jackhammer drums of Troy Mowat, the lead vocals of Kevin Seconds, and the bright, razor-like production of Bill Stevenson (of Descendents fame), what impresses about the album is its share of catchy melodic hooks. The chorus of "Still on It," for example, approximates ...
| | Michael Dvorken and his Pals Eatin' Watermelon CD (2003)
Last Predators album
$13.69 This wonderful collection of music will delight children and take their parents back to a time that was filled with wonder and joy. The concept in writing this CD was to create music and lyrics children would love and parents could listen to over and over without losing their minds. I mean how many times can one listen to "The Wheels On The Bus......." before needing some sort of therapy. "Michael Dvorken has that rare ability to write great songs for kids that adults can appreciate, too! His songs speak to his young listeners on their level without a hint of condescension. Can't wait for the follow-up to Eatin' Watermelon." ...

| | Union Made Hard Grace CD (2007)
Last Predators album
$12.15 "We're union made - from bone to brains"Born and bred on the streets of Montreal, this outfit and their battle-hardened crew have come a long way. UNION MADE's Dave (bass), Nic (vocals) and Yan (drums) are veterans from the infamous Montreal skinhead band, STREET TROOPERS. Years of street activity came to a marked decline when the band dissolved but their 'Here To Stay - Here To Fight' philosophy didn't go down with the ship. Out of the ashes came the uncompromising FATE 2 HATE, whose lineup included Yan and Dave. F2H served up their contribution to the world of hardcore and brought it hard. Almost immediately signing to Insurgence, the band issued the now classic 'Iron Fist' release and went on to dominate the Montreal hardcore scene. To demonstrate the lineage of the band and ensure their skinhead roots were kept watered, F2H would often enlist the vocal talents of Nic Trooper in tag-teaming certain tracks. As things went, Nic would soon replace their frontman altogether. With the reunited lineup, the old militant stand was brought to the fore once ...
