French exclusive compilation, part of their 'Talents Du Siecle' series. These titles have all been digitally remasteredusing SBM 20 bit mapping technology. All are packaged in a luxurious three fold digi-pack with exclusive artwork for the French market. These will only be available until the end of October and are very limited. Stevie Wonder rarely cut bad sides, fans always flipped his 45s to hear the B-side which often was equally as satisfying. Millennium Edition includes some of those B-sides and album cuts along with a sprinkling of chart smashes making this a grab for both casual and the more probing fans. Staunch Wonderites will notice the omission of four great B-sides: "Purple Rain," "Hey Love," "With a Child Heart," and "Ain't That Asking for Trouble." Still, "Uptight (Everything's Alright)," "I Was Made to Love Her," "Nothing's Too Good for My Baby," "You Met Your Match," and "Traveling Man" will appease casual record buyers. And serious Wonder lovers will relish the inclusion of "Contract of Love" and its flip "Sunset," a two-sided hit in some Midwest cities that never went national. "Love A Go Go," taken from the Uptight album, shows the depth of Motown's material; they left it languishing on the LP when other materially deprived companies would have rushed it on the streets. Even if you have all of Stevie's anthologies and greatest hits' albums, you still will lack many of these choice productions, mostly by Henry Cosby. ~ Andrew Hamilton
