Homenaje A Las Madres album
$11.89 Latin pop boy band Aventura has achieved no small amount of success with their unique blend of traditional Dominican bachata and sleek, Top 40-oriented R&B. THE LAST, Aventura's fifth studio release, further explores the band's swoon-worthy style, and is one of their most accomplished and impressive efforts.
As usual, the quartet plays to their strengths, which include lilting tropical ballads, with the occasional foray into hip-hop-flavored slow ...

| | Victor Manuelle CD (1996)
Homenaje A Las Madres CD music
$5.69 This is the recording that made Victor Manuelle a household name, placing him in the front rank of the most celebrated Puerto Rican salsa singers. The typically loud and brash Sergio George production seems an adequate backdrop for the talents of the improvisational singer, who finally reached his personal identity with this CD. This production features George's usual New York personnel: brass men ...

| | Gram Parsons Warm Evenings, Pale Mornings, Bottled Blues CD (1992)
Homenaje A Las Madres songs
$17.79 It's amazing to think that it took until 1991 for a comprehensive anthology of Gram Parsons' work to appear anywhere, and it came from Raven Records in Australia. Warm Evenings, Pale Mornings, Bottled Blues tackles the task of distilling Parsons' decade-long career into 75 minutes and 21 songs and it succeeds admirably -- Parsons' most hauntingly beautiful original song with the Shilohs, "Zah's Blues," opens the collection and from there you jump to the three strongest tracks off of the International Submarine Band's one and only album. Rhino's double-CD Gram Parsons anthology goes deeper into his later history, but the Raven set casts a slightly wider net and is a little more concise, as well as providing a pretty fair bio on the man himself. ~ Bruce Eder
This compilation CD is the first attempt to anthologize the whole span of Gram Parsons' solo & group career. ...

Homenaje A Las Madres album
$7.29 Enhancements include a music video and "behind-the-scenes" footage.
Clearly not wishing to lose the considerable head of steam accumulated by their ever-more popular albums, Finnish extreme metal favorites Children of Bodom unleashed this four-track EP in 2005 -- just in case their fans were starting to forget them. No chance of that, as it were; besides a couple of excellent originals (the very appealing, riff and synth-laden title track and its similarly hooky counterpart "Knuckleduster" -- both typically Bodom), Trashed, Lost & Strungout contains a revealing pair of covers exposing the group's ...

Homenaje A Las Madres CD music
$15.25 With the rebirth (reincarnation, rather) of the outrageously popular sci-fi series Doctor Who on the BBC, there comes (of course) the soundtrack. This time out, Murray Gold mans the TARDIS' stereo controls and, with the help of accomplished orchestrator Ben Foster, offers up some of the best music the series has ever had. From the tasteful reworking of Ron Grainer's ubiquitous theme music to the Walker Brothers-channeling tracks by the Divine ...
