| | Theryl "Houseman" De'Clouet Houseman Cometh! CD Theryl "Houseman" De'Clouet Discography of CDs
Something of a local legend in New Orleans as the frontman of the band called Galactic, DeClouet is a soul-funk singer of considerable talents. This disc focuses mainly on more laid-back material, which is a shame, considering the power of the scant straight-ahead funk he offers. Tunes like "I Get Lifted" and "You Came" give you a good idea of what makes him such a crowd-pleaser. But the other material, while somewhat pleasing, is a bit run-of-the-mill. ~ Tim Sheridan

His tough guitar lines remain biting yet classy, and his ...
