If you're looking for a look into the revolution that is Hip Hop, you've decided to take a glipse into the insides of some of real mc's behind the game. With rhyme and reason, you hear from some of the greatest names behind this cultural revolution. With appearances from the worlds best mcs such as Method Man, The Rza, and even Biz Markie, you get a ideal of what the hip hop game is truly about, not to mention Ice-T sporting a wu-tang shirt, so in conclusion show some love and watch this definitely. Otherwise you may as well fall on your head like a tragedy....

The Hip Hop Psyche
"Rhyme and Reason" gives the reason (motivations) behind the rhyme (rap) in a very respectful and honest way. It also provides a good basic historical overview of the movement of hip hop.

The culture of hip-hop is totally analyzed here. Great music, and a great message. I just saw it recently, and made me feel like I wish we could go back and live that time again. They were keeping it real with this one.

Thanks in part to the popularity of Scottish dance-rock act Franz Ferdinand in the early 2000s, the Fire Engines became perhaps the most name-dropped band most people had never actually heard. The band's limited recorded output was released on vinyl seven-inch, LP, and EP in the early '80s; it quickly went out of print, and became nearly impossible to track down. In 2007, Acute Records issued HUNGRY BEAT, a 16-track collection spread across the band's various releases, including its debut 1980 self-released single "Codex Communications." Offering a proto-dance punk sound pulled so tight you can practically bounce a quarter off it, the Fire Engines excelled at blending stutter-funk grooves with pre-C-86 jangle pop. A wonderful service to Britpop and post-punk fans alike, HUNGRY BEAT is absolutely essential.
