Tim Meadows stars as his popular Saturday Night Live character Leon Phelps, a sweet-natured, inexplicably irresistible love expert who tries to solve the world's romantic problems with hilarious results! After years of playing supporting roles, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE veteran Tim Meadows finally makes the leap to the big screen with this outrageous comedy, based on a popular sketch from the television show. Meadows is the hysterically exaggerated Leon Phelps, a smooth-talking, lisping, sex-loving skirt chaser, whose every line is even more crass and politically incorrect than the one before it. Just when everything seems to be sailing along smoothly, Phelps is fired from his job as a radio talk show host for making inappropriate comments on the air. As he searches for a new job with his too-good-to-be-true producing partner Julie (Karyn Parsons), he receives a letter from a woman claiming he is her true love. The only problem is that he can't figure out which of his many conquests she happens to be. By the time an angry mob of jealous husbands--led by the Greco-Roman wrestling Lance DeLune (Will Ferrell)--catches up with him, he has decided once and for all who he really wants. Meadows's obvious affection for his character shines through in THE LADIES MAN, providing the film with a surprising amount of sweetness. In addition to many SNL regulars, Julianne Moore appears briefly as a horny clown with an insatiable appetite for The Ladies Man. Released theatrically: October 13, 2000.

R. Kelly proves that he's as prolific as he is talented on the two-disc set R., which not only culls together his most noteworthy and successful work, but is bursting with new tracks as well. Filled from start to finish with Kelly's unique blend of smooth vocal stylings and no-nonsense lyrical stance, this album also features the work of a few of his prominent friends--the opener, "Home Alone" sports a guest rap courtesy of Keith Murray, while "Money Makes The World Go Round" is graced by Nas.
A more mainstream pairing is witnessed in the dramatic show stopper "I'm your Angel," which finds Kelly alongside superstar Celine Dion, but the collaboration which really makes its mark is "We Ride," which features Cam'Ron, Noreaga, Jay-Z and Vegas Cats in a veritable who's who of Hip Hop's brightest stars. As if all this weren't enough, the mega-hit "I Believe I Can Fly" is included for good measure. Newcomers to the world of R. Kelly will be attracted by the hits, but they're sure to stay for the instant classics and star-studded party jams which make up the rest of R.
