Back to the Blues album for sale Product Description
Back to the Blues album for sale by Gary Moore was released Mar 20, 2001 on the CMC International label. Six years after his successful tribute to Peter Green, Gary Moore follows with another solid electric blues-rock effort that falls squarely in line with his similarly themed albums Still Got the Blues, After Hours, and Blues Alive. Although he adds brass on a rollicking version of B.B. King's "You Upset Me Baby," Moore predominantly sticks to the basics here, pounding out energetic and full-bodied blues-rock and leading a stripped-down trio with a journeyman's enthusiasm and his trademark thick, sustained guitar solos slashing through the proceedings. Back to the Blues CD music contains a single disc with 10 songs. ...See Full Description

more Moore than even I want Say what you will about Gary Moore, I kind of like him. His solos aren’t all technical flash; often they’re intelligently melodic. By a reviewer (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan)
The title says it all I have been a life long Gary Moore fan. It started with his heavy metal phase("Victoms of the future",a smokin' disc I must say)until the present time." Still got the blues" is in my top ten desert island discs and I also enjoyed "After hours". By a reviewer (Saratoga Springs,NY)
Moore at his Best I first bought this because I could not get enough of "Enough of the Blues". But then, "Cold Black Night" started to stick in my mind, as did "I ain't Got You", "How Many Lies", and "Looking Back". By donaldeisenhart (Fort George G. Meade, MD)
great music...sound quality horrible I was excited about getting this purely because of the format. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed to hear craackling out of the left front speaker and a pretty uneven mix all around. By tomdavisjr (Mount Carmel, PA) This review is for a different format.
